Hey SG VFers, our international players are coming down next week and I really suggest a big VF dinner outing, so do you guys want to plan how we intend to receive our guests since we are the "hosts" ? Any plans up here will be great.

We were thinking of having 1 or 2 days of VF sessions in the late evening after WCG. Tentatively on the 9th of August.

We can do it at my friend's house at Paya Lebar.

We will have at least 2 Xbox set up for play so that we can expose SG community to the foreign players /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

The problem with Asia WCG is the tight schedule. On the 10th of August, the event will end late because of the prize ceremony. Usually ends around 8pm. Of course we will party to as late as possible. Possibly 3am or something like that! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Any other good ideas? Also who is interested in participating?

Hey guys,

If anyone havent found out yet, WCG isnt paying for VF players trip to Germany... I found my own sponsor with the help of my friend's team. I am hoping Danny could participate in Germany this year too.

The only possible way, I can think of is by getting the community to help him in the expenses to Germany. The total cost is around 4k+. Right now he is in reservist mode, so I am helping him with the post. We are starting off with VF community and then expanding out to other communities. Please spread the word!

Tentative Cut off Date line: 15th Sept 2008(Need to confirm with WCG)
Amount required: 2100SGD(1500USD)(registration/accomodation,etc) + 2000SGD Air ticket = 4.1k SGD
Min donation per person: Nil(Hoping 10$ and above)
Other ways to help: If you have any connections with airlines for cheap cheap air ticket to Germany. That would help alot. Current tickets go for like 2k$ to fly to Germany.

I sold the price phone for $150 plus the prize money $400 so that's another $550.

I'm kinda broke as I'm still recuperating from the last Japan trip.

You can be sure I'll be working real hard. I'm pretty sure I know frames and max damage for all character better than 80% of the people here. I'll work on what Itazan highlighted to me and Tetra.

If I do win in any placing for the World WCG, KTV any1? LOL
