i had to leave in a rush last nite coz i was actually waiting for seats at TCC when i went to the arcade

so yea i left hastily when i was told there're seats lol

Hi guys, I'm new to VF5 but not VF in general. Have been faithfully playing VF series since '93 except VF4/Evo. It seems you guys hang out at virtualand at bugis weekends. Cool... I thought the arcade scene had died but a trip to down there last Friday proved me wrong. The arcade scene is very much alive(maybe i havent been going to arcades for a long time).

Anyway I was there last Friday evening; I saw a match between pai & akira. The pai player was piling up quite a number of wins before he got beat. I noticed Tekken 6 was hogging the limelight what with the new wide/big screen cabinets. Heya, wished VF5 had the large screen cabinets like back in the days of VF1, VF2.

Hope to see you guys at bugis sometime. On which days do you guys play there? Being new, which of you are actually from vfdc forums?

 

Most of the guys go down on Fridays... Saturdays vary from what I know... though the rest can probably tell you more about the saturday crowd. Were you the fella using Lei Fei ?

Hi driftsilencer, yep you got that right. Can't say for sure if it's the same Pai player (but yeah he used backflip kick move quite often).

It's good to know local VF players. I usually use Jeffry/Wolf as my main. I'm far from proficient as i'm still catching up/learning the VF5 system and what not(I passed playing VF4/evo /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif after not playing VF for a couple of years due to studies in Australia).

For sure, I'll be on a lookout for you guys when I'm at Bugis. Should be fun playing again at arcades.

 

Yeah! I personally vouch for driftsilencer that the dirty lauchee pai player is not him. Its 100% **vin.

Nah just kiddin' he has improved alot since I played him via VF4 EVO days.

I played him last night and it's a nice session, a little dissapointed with some of the characters he used but he has significantly improved with some of the b*****d characters he is really good at. XD
