Great article! This further strengthens my doubts about the lag caused by the TVs at Cineleisure. What we need to do is to set the TV to run at the resolution that Xbox 360 signals is running at so that the TV does not need to do any signal conversion which results in the lag. Xbox has a choice of 480p, 1080i, 720p or 1080p according to the article.

But then again I might be wrong...

Actually, I don't understand what those guys are doing there.
The xbox360 comes with a set of component cables anyway....
my guess is

a) technician does not know abt it n just used composite instead
b) the TVs inherently unable to support progessive scanning at all

Nah cineleisure is retarded. They don't know how to hook up HD connections. All they know is Yellow Red and White wires. The other Red Green and Blue connectors confuse them.

May I know does VSHG require some parts of a wired controller for the arcade stick? And therefore the wired controller can't be used? Mine is DoA joystick, can it be modded? Compare with EX2, which is bstter? DoA or EX2?

Yup. It requires the main 'board' for the mod.

The EX2 and the DOA are the same joystick with different stickers.

Depends on what you mean by modding.

If you mean changing the stick and buttons then yes. However, it's a real pain to mod a DOA4/EX2 stick. Other than that there's not a lot you can do. You can adjust spring tension but that's really about it.
