I'm going back to my hometown in Msia for CNY. Will not patron Bugis for the next two weeks. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just found out Lion is born in the year of Sheep (1979). No sure if he needs to pray for "tai-sui" for 2006 Dog year. Haa haa haa... Maybe will switch to another character in VF5.

Hello everyone,

As you should all know by now, I'll be going to Japan this month on the 23rd for 11 days together with my girlfriend. Those want me to help them buy anything please pm me. You will have to give me the money first as I on budgeted trip for 2 person hehe. The currency rate is very good now compared to last year.

Finally, anyone who is interested in the game dun be shy to ask me. I've NEVER tell newbies to fark off. Those got PROBLEM WITH ME ONE DUN TALK SO MUCH ABOUT MEETING ME AT BUGIS BUT NOT TURNING UP. Want to play Pia I most Pia already.

Finally, thanks to Sergeant Kiat for advising me on the police report and I got to remember to return the Naruto comic book to Ken too! lol

Oh, the rate now is $1.39 for 100 yen compared to $1.60 last year March.

Hi Guys! I've played VF5! It really feels so weird...

Its 200 yen for 3 out of 5. Kinda Expensive. They change alot of stuff since the last beta test. Kage has got double sweep from New stance! Monkey fist Aileen is so annoying.

Anyway, the FT scene is really bad now. Hardly anyone plays except the top players. I got rank down and up between 10dan and 9 dan whole day. They was a queue of people waiting to play my 90% winning kage at Nishispo. LOL so funny. Hard to rank up cos almost no low dans now.

VF5 feels really much slower than FT. Launchers float lower and float combos do less damage. Graphics is impressive on the plasma TV cabinets. Akihabara Club Sega was testing on Versus City so they looked kinda dull. Backgrounds looked really still and plain compared to FT. Weird. SEGA changed ALOT of commands from the last test. Everyone had new throws and moves. I couldn't figure out how to do new evade and evade attack until Shou told me.

Akira's double palm lost alot of range. He can now do knee on slamed opponent after AS3. No more standing palm, p to double palm. standing palm, AS3 to knee.

Kage's FT/evo +,, the high can be cancelled into new stance where you can do a new double sweep that is elbow uncounterable OR you can do some funny mid punch. Kage's TFT has a longer pause before you can do the knee which greatly reduces the damage as your opponent floats lower.

Jacky can now do ,,+,(special high),(mid) compared to where you can only do high roundhouse or sweep in FT. Jacky was the most popular character with the most wins when I left last night.

Brad can cancel his 2nd into slipping from the 4 hit judge frame ,,,+. I didnt bother to play much as it was 200 yen and the famous players where hogging them most of the time. Throws are back to FT's range and execution from what i feel.

I'm pretty sure more dramatic changes are gonna take place so what I experience now wouldn't really matter. Also since the game is only for rent, I doubt we will ever have it in SG. The girlfriend will be so happy.

Anyway, I got to Mosa at Akihabara and had a shot for ranking match for Ouja! lol.

Then some guy call 'Men in Brad' came and exterminate me and HE got to Ouja instead. I went to Nishispo and tried to rank up on this Tsuwamono Jeffrey but 'MASK' has to interrupt us with his Tsuwamono Kage. Many of the famous players are playing other charactors like Segaru playing Akira(Tsuwamono), Mask Akira & Kage(both Tsuwamono), Special Busho rank Shun playing Vanessa(Tsuwamono) etc..etc..wtf. There's only ranking down at Nishispo once you are at Tsuwamono and above.

Too bad I only had 4 nights to play in all. Kage got to 10 dan only yesterday and didn't have enough time for Tsuwamono. Girlfriend didn't like me playing and was complaining that she can't breathe. The only nice thing she said about VF was 'Lion has nice shoes!' wth.... nice shoes lol.

I met Shou again and got to eat yakiniku finally! I would like to sincerely thank Shou here for making the effort to show me around, bringing me to Chibita's arcade, giving me a VF5 card, shwoing me 'secret sales' and teaching me how to play Sarah. Also thanks to David for removing my Akira card from his account so I can edit it. I kinda miss 'Think Fuck' though lol. I met Namflow and Supergolden last night /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Yeah! Especially when I got to Mosa and had a 'Ranking Match' for Ouja! I didn't want to stop playing the 'Men in Brad' as its hard to find Mosa and we were pretty even plus I would be meeting Shou at Nishispo later on which is impossible to rank up at. Shou never got ranked down to 10 dan at Nishispo which is really remarkable. I wonder if you get any special colors or items for attaining Mosa.

No Tonkatsu this time though but we had lots of Ramen and Yakiniku. We also spent 1 whole day at Tokyo DisneyLand where my gf spent hell alot. We went to parks at Ueno & Hibiya, shopping at Harajuku, Ebisu, Shibuya and Ginza. Chris liked the tempura shop at Akihabara alot. Its the same one we went last year Jeff.

Will you be coming back for a break soon?
