I'm coming for a week but I'll probably be busy for a couple of days since my cousin is getting married. After that I might blow a small fortune of cash at the arcade, since I've never even played FT sadly.

I dunno when/if Freddy is coming but if so I must stress to you both NO TALKING CHINESE! k thx. I know It's unnatural for you two but PLZ In the interests of equal conversational opportunity.

Rulakir, do you know who I am, hahaa.. let's just say I'm the guy u said that will need 10 years to play VF to win you hahaa.., didn't have enough console games with u yet, when I come back, we will have a game or two, hopefully u're not retired by then, how's the VF scene in Sg now ? Good ? Anyway, I going for a VF Battle in London tomorrow.. wish me luck.. the videos will probably be up soon... stay tuned. =p

Nah... danny13, he's probably just joking.. hahaa Anyway, dan.. what's the best strategy to go up against a Jacky player using an Akira player ? I figure out that Akira character is too linear again Jacky's changing moves. Hopefully, any suggestions would be great before my match today. 6 hours to go.. it's SPOD-ing time against players using .. hehehee .

The players I know of that played very good Jacky in London are Ryan and Marc. There is no way paper tactics or suggestions can help you. Even if I give you last-minute tips on playing Jacky, you will have to face the Akiras, Wolfs, Aoi, Lions over there. Just play with all your guts and your instinct. They are all very nice people. Enjoy the competition in London.

Kev, like I told you many times before, dodge more, vary more, and don't keep standing there, and like Zeng Zi said, play with your instincts... Danny also taught you roughly what to do before with Akira what... oh yes, don't + so often I suppose...

Hahahaa.. thanks Mr Rulakir.. I did my best yesterday, wasn't too bad, at least it wasn't 3 nil like last time. I won a few games using Jacky, lost many. I got my ass kicked during tourni matches. Hahaha..coz like what Zeng Zi said, I went up against alot of strong players, mainly Aoi, Jacky, Wolf, Pai, Lion and Goh? yesterday during grouping.. Ryanhart wasn't there *thank goodness*, but I think Marc was there. Anyway, had fun yesterday playing against them, I need more combat experience and practice, but considering the distance I need to travel down to London to play.. sigh.. no $$$ ahaha..

Hey wassup? Is the local vf scene still active? I long time never play liao, sianz already, now waiting for VF5 only. I saw the vf5 demo vid, the graphics are amazing man. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Btw, I saw Wilson in the papers today. He was first runner up in the WCG DOA finals, I nearly choked when I read that he only started playing the game 9 months ago, and that the local DOA scene was virtually non existent! GJ and congrats . /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I also came to this page after reading about Wilson. Long time never play VF also.

Congratz to wilson too /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif must be VF lah. After playing VF, DOA must be a piece of cake /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif just kidding, I am sure DOA is difficult to master too.

Wilson's bro here. Many thanks on his behalf. You guys should have been there to watch the finals. It was 2-1 (Jap-Sin). Watching the finals was better than soccer, seriously. The cheering was unprecedented and louder than usual, especially after each major damage combo.

Alucard, don't choke. lol. Its true that he started 9 mths back.... *cough*... by accident. cos' I was going to sell the game, and he said, "eh.. try try leh." That time got 2 month coupon for xbox live. So he tried to play doau on xbox live.

He is like a celebrity now. I was there for the prize giving ceremony. He didn't even have time to sit down to talk and had to attend interviews. I think he even lost track of the number of interviews he attended.

The Japanese was very strong, so were the Taiwanese. Basically, the Asian (ie, Korean, Japan and Taiwan) reps were pretty good. Its expected, cos' traditional vf battlegrounds. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

One korean commented that he was good. He said the same about them. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Its nice to see you guys online again.

Wilson will be playing DOA4. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif for obvious reasons, of course. now, I'm also tempted to migrate to doa. somemore, can play on xbox live.

The best part of xbox is the accessibility to the other Asian DOA players. I'm sure you guys didn't know that wilson played with some of the competitors on xbox live, before. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Pity that vf don't have online support.

And, a little joke on the side. If you guys saw wilson's singtel poster, this will make sense. He was at wcg. One of his friends was telling a singtel model that he is the guy in the singtel poster. All the singtel models (think about 3) started to wonder if it is true. So, all three went round and round again and did not dare to approach him. Finally, one of them took the initiative to ask and he said he was the guy in the poster.

I am also interested in playing DOA. It is nice to have big competitions. The last big one I remember was the VF3 world tournament I think... We had soo many players in the competition...

How is the online play? Is lag a problem considering how fast fighting games are?

Does Wilson have lobang for DOA4??? Can we get 360 and DOA4 in Singapore soon? Don't want to pick up DOAU when DOA4 is coming out so soon.
