Can someone tell me what the cards system for aracde does? Need some info to speak to them managements. Thanks in advance.

 

Hm.....

The card system allows you to save your charcters progress.

---1 card only can choose 1 character
---Records your wins and losses (accumulative)
---Gives u a rank (there are certain criteria to get ranks e.g win 5 battles facing a certain rank)
---Using this card system, we can customised our characters but the process of customising I not very sure.
---Thinks thatz all.

 

Cool! That sounds like Soulcalibur 2's conquest mode. Just that you guys get to keep the card this time. SC2 stores it in its own memory.

Whatever it is, I guess the one coming to Bugis will be the cardless system. Anyway, make sure you can persuade the management to set the game settings.

Ideal setting:
1 token
3 squares (rather circles)
45 minutes

Anything less than this setting, I believe the most hardcore players will not even think about going.

After the PS2 came out, no more gatherings at yishun liao.

 

As an FYI, there are several VF machines in Hong Kong that use the card system, and I believe there's one in California as well. Not sure about Taiwan.

A card system will probably pique a lot of interest, especially to non-traditional VF players.

10 sets?! Cool... but its probably too late now. I personally wouldn't play it in the arcades unless the machines come with the card system.
