Last monday I was at bugis, some annoying guy played Lei Wulong and kicked so many pple's ass. Whole day do nothing but lie on floor wait for you. I got my copy of T5 for 85 SGD btw.

Played a few rounds of VF with our old pal zhifeng. He too busy with his new found love to post and play liao. Playing back here makes me wanna fall asleep literally. The pace and intensity is all gone...

haha sleepy eh danny? then you should head over to hk and macau at least we got VF ver. B hehe. hey dan, which character do you use? if that bitch is lying on the ground, just use kazuya or jin's 3,4 to flip over, or paul's qcb 3, 2, 2 but make sure you dont go in too close. just keep a distance because dependent on whether he is sleeping face down or up, there are different moves. if i dont remember wrong, i think face down, he can do a slide. so be aware. but getting close is risky because face up, he can choose hitting you low or mid. (mid comes witha juggle afterwards.)

Just wanna drop by to give props to ice-9. Very nice Paul - pretty different from the usual ones I've seen so far >=).

Don't worry about 10-strings. After awhile you'll get the feel and be able to d+1 them out of it.

was also playing tekken 5 with one of the retired tekken 3 (and 4) regulars. And, he happened to be regular player, until he started his work in the accountancy line. XD

Anyway, I played with a mokujin the other day. He is an impossible player to beat, IMO. Might be dropping by on sat next week. Have been playing Paul, Law, Lee and Nina.

Law is also another pretty good character to play, with some damaging 50% combos. Will try to capture a pic of my friend's Law. He looks just like a newspaper boy. lol. Just imagine.

I know theres this damn good T5 player who frequents Bugis, he plays King and some other chars I think.

I got T5 like a week ago, but I havent got time to play it much, only played Asuka (Jun from T3?) and Jin a bit. Seems that all the T5 players are busy practising at home ever since the ps2 version was released.

His name is Catseye, right? He has a divinely highly winning rate, as well. If I'm not wrong, he plays Marduk and the sumo.

By the way, I saw this Malay guy using Marduk the other day. Wow! Simply amazing! Smooth and impressive flow. Very experienced player judging from the way he play. Never panick even when he is 2 rounds down.

Me quite free these days and would like to learn T5. Anyone interested in exploring the game together?

Guys, quick update:

- Spoke to Bugis management, and they said they were going to get Version B! Atrium knows their stuff, but boy are they greedy--still $1 per play there and I already mentioned to one of their more senior staff that Bugis has it at 50 cents

- The Japanese guy's name is Otaka. He's a 10th dan from Tokyo! He plays at Shibuya High Tech, but is here in Singapore permanently. Be sure to say hello when you next see him

- I think everyone is ready for VF5, but to be honest, as fun as Tekken can be (with all that comp!) I still prefer VF

ice-9: i just caught a short glimpse when I came down last Friday - but you left not long after. Recognised you as one of the VF players heh.

King player is Tiger's Eye. There are other very good players around as well, but they usually come on Fridays 7-8+ onwards? Some of the SC2 players have also been picking up T5 heh.

Tried picking up VF one time but my dumbass mind can't seem to get it >=|

Heya Summah! You forgot to pack me in the luggage when you went back to Melbourne!!! >=P Yeah most of the melbourne regulars I've played with have stopped.

Yifan is 4eyed_King and Adrian is mos%def on TZ but...they don't post there anymore. You can try looking them up on www.arcadepimp.com but they're rarely there also - tequilabomber and tricky%kid.

Heh, would love to go back for a visit buut...got study loans to pay off here >_<. Maybe one day if I can get a good deal heh. I'll probably pester Yifan to let me bum over at his place or something to save on costs as well hah.

Had a great time yesterday playing with Danny and others. Danny is so dammn strong these days. Perfect double throw escape guard! We should ban him from going Japan cos everytime he comes back stronger. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anyway me picking up Tekken 5 these days. The Tekken players quite friendly. This particularly 5 Dan player taught me quite a number of stuffs. Think we should organise some Tekken 5 sessions in order to join the Tekken 5 crowd.
