About FT in SG

I have been speaking to the management of Zone X for the past couple of weeks, since i know someone on the supervisory committee, as I told Freddy.

Anyways some good news /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif FT might be here sooner than the 3 weeks initially told to me by Zone X management. They have have placed orders for the new FT cards (something i personally look forward to! )

Will post up as more details become available to me.

seems like migration is becoming eminent.....
now all we need is a central Zone X arcade that we can all meet up in......

Kurt, do you know if the machines are high-res? That would be the icing on the cake: Versus/Net City, high resolution, card readers, FINAL TUNED...whoo!

Hahahaahaha i did not specifically indicate that as an order item. coz i'm fairly sure they only order the software from overseas (specifically for VF), i'm sure for parts they rely on local distributor tho.

I'll talk to them about it tho, i'm not sure if they'd be keen on getting SVGA monitors, let me see what i can work out with them.

I'm just glad they even ordered FT

Update on Zone X:

- Bad news is that the shipment is delayed, and now management doesn't really know when FT is coming. Probably September.

- Good news is that FT is definitely coming.

Anyway, I'm going up to Bugis tonight, hope to see some of you guys there!

I am surprised you still haven't apologized (on this thread) to SumMah for being so hasty in assuming he was refusing to share info, and that post about ' ..... for those who DO care ' sounded rude

me posting ' i AM the one talking to Zone X ' was not meant to be for nothing you know, as it is, this shows how eager freddy is to share, even tho i told him to keep quiet about it as I still was discussing it with Zone X

don't get me wrong Ice-9, i have nothing against you personally, your post tho I have to say rubbed me the wrong way

1. Who are you? Do we know each other? Why are you criticizing me?

2. I don't understand your third paragraph at all.

3. It's almost 3 weeks now, and no FT. Why? My post provided the answer: delayed shipment. If you don't think it's helpful, ignore it. Saying it's not helpful isn't being helpful either.

4. Read the thread again. I apologized not just to Freddy but to everybody. Now I expect an apology from you.

To provide a wee bit of insight here - many japanese distributors expressed wait times in excess of a month to receive FT from Sega. This also includes control panels and card readers. There's a back log resulting in longer wait times and being outside of Japan doesn't help either. Just my 0.02.

Hey Guys

I'm gonna be in Singapore next Saturday, staying for at least a week. I was wondering which arcades have VFevo there? and what nights are best to find people to play with?.

I'm planning on buying a digital camera while I'm there but the prices vary so much in Singapore that I don't really know where a good place to buy one would be, any advice? /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyway, hope i get a chance to meet up with some of you guys if you have time, knowing my luck FT will pop up the day after i leave /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

ps. I hope i get a chance to play that akira tetsujin who SPOD minami akira then owned him 3-1 /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif It's my one chance to get some good comp since the scene here has faded away /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The main thing to pay attention to in that post was the after the tetsujin remark.

Was hoping to get a chance to play Gerald and Fleddy again but Freddy has very rudely decided to skip town /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif typical.

Was hoping to get a chance to play Ice9 as well if he's still in Singapore.

I'll be in town until the 17th at least i might stay a few days longer depending on how much i spend the first week.
