So we dont have FT yet? Well, I dont mind writing to Bugis' management, but I doubt its gonna make a difference. VF machines have always been more expensive than other games yet they dont generate as much/more revenue as the other games (think KOF series).

Oh btw, you cant blame singaporeans for being passive about everything, most have been conditioned to act that way after yrs of mind numbing education and 2.5 yrs of brain-washing national service.

Hey Andrew, I've written them but I think the most effective way of getting our point across is to call them and speak to them directly. I've been in Tokyo and Dubai the past few weeks, so haven't had the chance to talk to the people in the arcade, but when I return this Tuesday I'm going to push for that.

I think there's NO QUESTION they can make money. Can they make money if they buy 20? I don't know. Can they make money if they buy 1 and put in Bugis Junction? Most definitely.

 

u have a pt. I think super or funland might have a better chance of getting the game. Besides, if other arcades have, might as well migrate ... en mass! Make the bugis management feel the pinch, if there was ever one....

 

Good ideas...how do we contact these arcades? Do you guys have an inside track to one of them? I don't mind migrating, but I do wish they would also get a card reader. Ahh, actually I'll be happy enough with just the game...

 

Well, I don't think we have much of an inside track nowadays, but I did manage to find the URLs for two of the bigger (not to mention surviving and successful) arcades around.

one of our aracdes in macau has FT, but i think they are slightly losing money. (because not too many VFers knows about that location.) maybe you guys can get it off that arcade lol

Funland used to be quite consumer oriented, until something .... happened, i think. Not sure what that is. Pity that those with the cash ain't moving.

Don't be bothered by this senseless psychological "wizardry". If an arcade has the game, u can be assured that the guys at gamersquare.com will know it way ahead of anyone in this forum.

Even if he ain't concerned, why should we be concerned with what he knows and may not wish to reveal. Its his business, isn't it?

Besides, I'm sure the chaps at gamersquare are already looking. And, they were the first to spot evo at Bedok. Let us not forget that. There are other people looking out there, not just him... or for that matter, you. Let us try not to kill each other, before the game is found in singapore. -_-
