Yeah that's my gamertag. I use Lion, El BLaze, and Akira. If you play a Lei player that's my brother. But thanks for the IM afterwards. I kind of figured you didn't pull cause you still had more then half your energy when it disconnected. Most pullers will wait till the last second to pull.

Thanks for the compliment as well. I'll probably use Lion more online now then Akira or El Blaze. I was in a little rut with him before, but I'm slowly getting out of it.

to answer your question you would send a pm out of simple manners or respect,
I would try and treat others online as I'd like to be treated, nothing more nothing less.

I only brought up the other poster as I thought it was relevant to show that another player had some sort of issue with you, I wouldn't have done so if you hadn't responded in the way you had.

Please, I'm hardly flaming you, if you read some of the posts on here you would know Real flaming lol , I'm simply saying you could have handled your actions better online, whether you choose to acknowledge or change that is up to you.

Add KeepThatKush420 to the list, worked him on the first 2 rounds, last round did an excellent and he quit when i got the last hit.

 

Add Brad Burns to the list.

Lol, wow. Reminds me of pretty much any other online fighter: people being upset about cable pullers and then going into private rooms only.

Of course, I'm not saying that the above applies to everyone in this thread. But what I saw here just made me want to post, "ive learned a valuable lesson today. Do not play random people from now on"

Your community really doesn't need this right now. You should still look to any possible future competitive players. I am only saying this of course because I come from the DOA community and know no one from the VF community offline. I mean, I have hardly had the chance to play online and when I did I was owned by Shangster.

I'm just saying, tread cautiously, I've seen instances where such isolation has destroyed a community's potential for growth.

 

Crazy! I've had two disconnects out of like 30 online matches. The first one was clearly accidental, but the second one is a bit suspect now that I think about it. The second one was on a ranked match the moment I hit the final blow to win, and then it disconnected... At the time I didn't even think that people were lame enough to do that sort of thing on purpose. Silly me I guess. On the other hand, everyone else I've played has been really awesome. So far VF is shaping up to be the best online gaming community I've played in (let's hope that keeps up).

 

Some guy quit out on me in the last round, was a Lei Fei player. Other than that everything has been going well, except I am having trouble finding someone good to play >.<

 

Keep an eye out for WeenyFiend. He plays Akira and has a decent record if I remember correctly. I played the guy twice in a row and he quit both times as I was scraping him in the third round. Coincidence?

i just recently had a lei-fei player by the name of ITK5 leave the match before the 2nd round even started... asked him if he lost a connection, and got no response...

 

Uh, the reason why DOA players do private rooms is because they only want to play with their friends, people who they know are good and people who won't complain about stuff being cheap.

This is VF sorwah, there arn't many laggers, people really don't complain unless you spam something weird (But even then you got more questions than complaints) and, most importantly, these are one man instanced rooms. Thats means that I don't have to sit here and play with you forever and its very unlikely you could follow me around.

Different setting Sorwah, different rules of engagement.

 

i encountered him today... 1st time he didn't pull, but the second time, he pulled way after i won the match... oh yeah, anyone fight a shun player named FORROS??? yeah he pulled the plug before the final round even started...

 

I'll update the opening post with the list of players. Didn't expect this thread to get so big.

 

I can tell you that I am NOT a cable puller, have been having alot of dc's lately.

I'm playing Forros regularly and he doesn't do anything weird like spamming or plugging, he's actually very nice. Maybe it wasn't his fault.
