1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Just going to take this opportunity to point out a few things... not aimed at anyone imparticular.

1: Quit bitching about a 60 hour work weeks. I kicked, fought, and screamed to get mine down to 50, which is damn short for Japan. I think I've earned it. On the flip side, my firm has a Korean side and a Japanese side. Korean side works on Japanese holidays, and Japanese side on Korean holidays. The lonely IT guy in the middle works both, which is 20 days a year on either calendar. In short, I don't have that much time, but I don't bitch about it. Only time I do is when someone begs me to take 2 hours to go buy them a $5 item in Akihabara, and have them make it worth my while with $1 worth of juice.

2: I'm not invisible. I post here avidly, and anyone that's been here for the last year knows that while I'm not on a super-friendly basis with all the JPN players, I have talked to the majority of them. ANY of them are a contactable, and would gladly listen to any offer that would take them abroad to play VF. I even know the bar that Kyasao hangs out in (more than arcades probably) which makes him an even easier target. If anyone ever needs to get in touch with someone, chances are, I'll bump into them within a week. Some aren't the most personable, but Kyasao, Chibita, SHU, and Kofu Megane I talk to whenever I see them. I'd be happy to be the middleman to get a NA event together... free of charge. You're on your own for a translator when they get there, as I've yet to meet one VFer who can string a sentence of English together.

3: While I'm not 'taking sides', I totally see Creed's point. He, Myke, Ice, and the other moderators put in pain-staking hours for free to help the western VF community. I can totally see where something like this just goes against their principles. Also, since a few of the pro-NYC people are being assholes, specifically to me, it only makes me go pro-Creed even more. Not to mention he's been cool to me from the get-go.

I don't think this thread is going to die a natural death, which means Myke or the others will have to lock it, which probably won't happen. It would be nice to see everyone agree to disagree and let it go. I think the tournament is set in stone, and arguing isn't going to help much.

Well, not as hardcore as I used to be, and I do a fair amount of posting at work on my lunch break. The Korean market doesn't close for lunch, so I have to stay there in case something happens, but usually just surf or read when it's quite.
