I'm having loads of problem with el blaze. Last night I lost about 50 matches and won maybe 5. lost 3 ranks that I gained with vanessa but I don't really like her.

What's a good follow up to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. It seems it's only good for stopping opponents in their tracks for maybe half a second then they're at it right again. It's kind of annoying that his sabaki is so weak.
    Thanks

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is pretty good to interrupt your opponent's attack and naturally push them back, you can go in for a throw, your opponent might read this and try to jab out of it, therefore a sabaki like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif will give you a crumble.

Yeah, I don't think it's that there's one move that's good to follow up with, it's that you should choose the right tool for the circumstance.

El Blaze's special movements are a ton of fun. I try to use them as much as I can, even if they are wonky.

Using the demon dance (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) to hop over get up kicks never gets old. The amount of attacks he can hop over is surprising.

I like to do: /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif, then either another demon dance, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, or even /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. It isn't exactly a sound tactic, but it's hilarious to watch.

Does Whirlwind (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) go by any other names? I'd like to see what this move looks like in real life.

Hi, I`m just starting with El Blaze, but for some reason I don`t see the whole mid/long range as a problem, you kan RD and play mind games to make up for that when you`re skilled. I`m bothered by his lacking of more high low mix-ups like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. I noticed the power of the hop (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) on okizeme as well!

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a nice high to low mixup and the first punch avoids high attacks too. Mix that with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and you've got a nice setup.

    Thanx for replying!

A player on the `VF in Belgium and The Netherlands` board wrote that the 3rd move in that string (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) is punishable if blocked. I noticed high/mid and low mixups are mostly inputted manually in this game.

It's not a big deal if it's punishable. There are VERY few low attacks in the game that aren't punishable on block. If someone blocks your low attack you usually get punished regardless. In my experience this attack is rarely blocked anyway.

Just like Grenburgs stated, is rare people block that attack, because, One, alot of people are only use to seeing El Blaze do "PPP" or 4K+P+P. Two, if you expect them to duck, don't do the last attack, just mid punch them, or low throw them. El Blaze has alot of combos that could be stop halfway, so is good to input a throw command, once in a while, to throw your opponent of. Good example, 4K+P---(Any throw) if you run the same setup again, you could delay the punch(That uppercuts them into the air when it connects) and follow it with a combo(4K+P+P or 6P+K depends on weight) Mess around in Dojo mode to see which combos could be stopped halfway.
