Best anti-crouch options

KoD: It's true I can't confirm it 99% at this point, however, I aim to always work my percentage up to that level -because- it's such a strong option compared to the other ones in it's category.
The reason I asked this question, which I did on thursday/friday last week is because I wanted to see if anyone else had some knowledge on what to use, I always assume I'm never the one that knows best so I take peoples opinion into account of what's best to do in specific situations then on friday/saturday/sunday I played focusing a lot on this question weighing the pros and cons of each option and on high level 9K+GK confirmed seems to me to be the strongest option.

Rising is very different from fuzzy because when someone is rising you can already have an attack out by the time it's possible for them to get hit by something, you can use movement to disguise what you're about to do, you can trick them with spacing etc. In a fuzzy situation they have a specific timing to resort to to beat an instant throw/mid situation. If someone could tell the difference between 1K+G/1K/3P/66P+K/Throw/9K+G or even just throw/9K+G on reaction then the situation would be different, but I know I can't and I haven't encountered someone who can.

Getting someone to crouch for more than just a fuzzy all depends on how well you use options that are strong against a standing opponent like lows that can't be blocked reactivley and quick sweeps or mixing up throws and timing of throws. A defensive player will more than likely try to guard low for a longer period since he will become aware of what you're doing. An offensive player might try to beat you out instead but that's neither here nor there. I believe the term is conditioning.

The reason I can use a lowthrow in a fuzzy situation is that if they fuzzy it will connect if I use a mid it won't, it's also unlikely that they will go for a launcher in a fuzzy situation as they might in a nitaku situation such as wakeup.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif confirmed or unconfirmed, it still loses to block. The point I was after is that techroll for example recovers crouching. This means if they block at all, low throw opportunity is guaranteed. Then the other part of the mixup - because they need to attack out of the lowthrow - is swallowkick or whatever midattack you want. Im too tired to go further if youre not looking for discussion.

And the MORE important point: if you repeat certain technique, you will be punished for it if you become predictable. Knowing the options and using them as mixups and reading opponent and making him guess wrong is whats important. THIS is why I started this discussion. Ive seen so many theoryfighters develop wrong conceptions about some technique.

Hypothetical example: Akira rises up from the ground, Pai does single swallow kick. Akira evades. mC bodycheck to the side = side crumple -> /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif -> DbPm = Pai ate 76 damage because Akira predicted swallow kick (not 80+, I remembered wrong in my earlier post. Sorry)

Skatan, have you played adam much? Playing people who fuzzy by letting go of the crouch when they see you twitch, rather than at a specific timing, may change your mind a bit. Being able to place meaty attacks on wakeup doesn't really change this. The other stuff you're talking about (movement, low attacks, etc) applies equally to standing fuzzy situations as well.

I want to see you do this in a match the next time we play.
Because I know Bob doesn't, and also on the topic of Bob I heard that at the WCG people were saying he had the best fuzzy there, strangely enough I can get 9K+G to hit him, peculiar isn't it?

I know, this shit always amazes me. I am utterly confused as to why some very high opponents will just rise in a duck for minutes at a time...i start to get paranoid and think "should i be doing this?" then i rifle them to the ground repeatedly with swallow kicks and think "no, probably not."

I find this to be very unsafe since any pai player will have many nasty set ups off of their crouching throws just for people who crouch too much or fuzzy guard in a way that can be predicted. The potential quick mid or low attacks all characters have also make this tactic potentially very fatal depending on the character in question. If some people feel they can get away with it go ahead and try. One thing we all learned in the beginning is to never stay in 1 position too much for too long, one will leave themselves open to many attacks depending on the position.

What I do is like this:

    While my enemy is getting up, I use [2] + [P] + [K]
(It depends on what direction your enemy is using for getting up if he or she uses an up for a full recover, use [8] + [P] + [K])
