been awhile since i BG'ed anyone, sooooo, here we go.

Super bad games to a 9th dan lion named Edporor. Not only did HE join MY match and then pull as i took the last hits of his life bar, his pulling reset my master ranking bar which was halfway full. then he had the nerve to join again 4 minutes later and deny having ever pulled on me. then he sent me a number of messages calling me a "noob." Pretty damn pathetic. And sadly, i pay the price for his stupidity. It would be great if VF5 just let master rank up like all the other ranks, but thats been argued to death already.

Bad games to Templario V. I made a comeback an beat this bastard after losing the first 2 rounds but right before I could finish him off, the loser pulled on me. Seriously guys, I hate this dumbass so much...please, don't ever befriend this guy even if he adds you. He's just an asshole period. LOL he sent me a message saying, "You suck b/c you only throw!" OMG WTF?

 

Bad Games to me for descending into the Ranked Match arenas after months of Player Matches and failing horribly at dealing with the kind of tactics and the quality of people that I found there.

Player Matches forever.

Besides, I still get mentally blocked everytime there's a Ranking Match, so what's the point? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

 

LOL I get blocked on ranking matches too. I'll beat like 10- name ranked players in a row, but the second I fight someone my own rank I'm like a deer in headlights!

I'm not complaining though, I know I'd get over that after enough ranked matches. Honestly the only reason I dont play ranked often is just because of the replay option in player match. Why cant that shit be in ranked match?

 

I've noticed that I only ever see the same names in ranked matches.


Especially this one Lion player, I wish I could remember his gamertag but he always does Lion's two low kicks if you crouch and block.

It's pretty funny to be honest.

I have played him a couple of times and won each time by blocking low and then punishing it.

What's even funnier is that he has several hundred wins.

That dude dropped on me when I had him 2-0 and didn't come back in ranked until after I've fought about 3 folks and beat me using hit-and-run. Hadn't seen the guy since.

Great job beating that Lion player, Truesonic! I probably would've lost lol. UGH I hate fighting Lion...not sure when to punish him and his low attacks just make me freeze everytime I get hit.

What gets me is how Bdoubleblade keeps on getting up to 8th dan! Okay, who is losing to him? Fess up NOOOWWWWWW! *El blaze's voice*

 

With the exception of you and a few other folks in Ranked. It's more of the tactic of Start running.........NOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!

 

I have had that issue for so long I am starting to think that I was meant to be stuck at my current rank by an act of god. I play decently against people ranked higher or lower than me but once they are of the same rank as me I will find ways to lose that match again and again like clockwork. I even play like a noob on top of it too even though I don't try to knowingly. If I had an answer to why it was happening I would be ranked at least 8th dan or higher all the time. Many people I know of that rank or higher are people I know I can beat and yet they rank higher than me. This is one of the main reasons why I avoid ranking matches recently.

I mean, if you have any aspirations of ever doing tournament play (which personally i don't) then its good to work through those demons, b/c you'll be just as tight and nervous if not more in a tourney than any online fight, i am sure.
