Bad Games Thread

If you can't count frame data then how are you going to learn to multiply and divide frame data....you'll never rank up to conquerer at this rate.

Sometimes I post just to ruffle some feathers because I'm bored and sometimes, when it seems like I'm just trying to be funny or I've lost my mind /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif I'm actually trying to make a point (sometimes there's a method to my madness... sometimes /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif )

I'm pretty sure I don't have to explain what I was trying to say to you or to most people here with that mockingly sarcastic post but judging from Ugg's response, I can tell that he didn't get it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

What I was trying to point out, Ugg, is that it doesn't matter what the person on the other side of that connection does, unless you guys are having a convo (and sometimes even then) it's really easy to interpret WHATEVER you want.
Back when VF5 was only on the PS3 (ahh, PS3 pad days) we use to play offline a lot more and all of us did some kooky stuff after the k.o. Most of us down here prefer some good old fashioned jumping over your opponent's k.o.'d body.
It wasn't until I started reading the xbl threads that I found out that some people found that to be *sniff* degrading /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif
Anyway, I don't do that anymore, not bc I don't want to offend but bc I've moved on to other shennanigans.

My point is you can interpret anything any way you want BUT is that assumption correct? It's very hard to tell online so why ASSUME and make an ASS out of U and ME?
Look, if you absolutely must assume, why not assume that they're just playing VF5 to have some fun? Just like you... unless YOU have a hidden agenda to show opponents just how "inferior" they are /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

 

Yeah I remember playing you dude, You and UKdiddy and some of the best Kage players I've seen online. I dont usually have a hope in hell to beat you but its still fun to challenge myself.

Hahaha pusobusomaru would never give me a rematch.... he beats me then sends "HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA" messages. I dont think ALL japanese people abide to that unwritten (no rematches for gaijin/guailo) rule, but alot definately do.

Onetime, I played this guy that got mad at me for whiffing moves and stepping around, after K.O.

He called it "airstriking"

I was playing a bit of cod4 at the time too, so I was thinking wtf?

Basically after that I knew it didn't matter what you do after K.O. cause people will think what they want of it. Even if you just stand there. It's rediculous. We laughed at the term "airstriking" in the shoutbox.

Bad games to Ughil. We played a few last night and tonight....I won every match, and got "interesting" comments each time.

Last night we played the first match...which I won..and then the second round into the next (player) match he dc. I then got a message that said "I hate Lau". I sent one back that said "All the more reason to play him then"

Tonight we played a few, and then after I won some he started just squatting and hitting LP over and over again. (this is gamer code for "I'm mad because I got hit by too many LP) Well.. I got hit by a few LP then started /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gifwith Lau.

This caused him to quit and send me various messages regarding how I suck for using LP too much.

The reason this pisses me off is not because I'm mad at the dude--it just urks me to see players who have potential but focus their energy on blaming the other player rather than upping their game.

To have a good fight you have to give a good fight. If you're the type of person that can lose to constant LP or sweeps or whatever--then you wont really see a good game. The fight will never get any better for you than getting hit by these moves over and over.

I'm not going to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif pause /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif pause /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif against someone who I know is just going to mindlessly go into a combo after my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. Instead I'm just going to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif EVERY single time until that person shows me that they are capable of blocking it.

As far as low punch goes, it works against some people. But there are players who will make me pay dearly for using low punch, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif with Lau, or some other cheesy move. As a matter of fact there have been times playing higher level players when the ONLY time I eat a combo is because I tried to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif

 

I would keep going at full force regardless I wouldn't hold back any combos just because the enemy isn't defending from them. I think of it as combo practice until they quit and this is basic VF strategy, taking advantage of a foe's weakness. There is no need to send hate messages, if I don't want to play someone based on their playing style I won't except the game to begin with. That is what I suggest Ughil does from now on.
