On that note I'd like to say bad games Yohannes Satrio. Some scrubby Lau player that joins my match with a horrible connection and beats me by just spamming a few combos. I couldnt even evade. After our match I host another one and he joins again so I pull on him in the lobby.

Sometimes I wish I could play a few of these scrubby graybars offline just so I can show them how much they really suck.

 

Bad Game to Neverstop4EVER. This retard joined my session with the worst lag EVER. Why would somebody be playing ranked matches online while the rest of the house is in YouTube is beyond me.

 

Bad Games to XBL, or my internet service, or whoever/whatever is to blame.
I got booted 3-4 times this weekend, super frustrating

I'm sure this has happened to others but I just have to bitch! I have been stuck at Barbarian for the last month or so because of lack of high rank players online. Little by little I will advance my rank meter but just barely. This morning I found a Japanese Shun that was gracious enough to keep playing me. He was Hunter. The record was about 18-2 and I finally made it to one match away from promotion.

He hosted once again, I joined, and the second the match started it was just a frozen screen with the background still moving. This lasted about five seconds until we were both disconnected. He hosted again and I joined again, only to find my meter below half!!!

Can you say frustrated??!! I highly doubt he did this on purpose, but who knows???

 

That's too bad JHow, and I'm impressed that you are still working on Rank~ I remembered that most high rank players don't belong to Nor-America, so if you really want to improve on Rank mode, you need an excellent connection with other countries. Actually I have no idea how MasaRed could approach his rank so high here. I'm also curious about how many bars do you have with JP or KO players?? The best signal for me is 2 bars and sometimes even 1 bar but still good enough to play; however, JP players refused me on rank coz they saw that connection wasn't good enough..... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif And that's the reason why I gave up playing rank and get used to player match so far. About the cable puller... I just remembered few weeks ago I met one Pai who has above 90% win ratio came along with 3000 matches, but it turned out the reason why she was hot just because she pulled it as habit... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
Maybe don't be too serious on rank is the only way to keep this depressed thing out~

I definitely don't take rank to heart but I will try my best while battling! Like I said I doubt that he pulled on me, rather I think it was just a freak occurrence which unfortunately had to happen during the promotion match.

I usually get 1 or 0 bars with Japanese players and have never gotten 2. Mornings seem to be the only time to rank because that is when Japanese players are online.

About the Pai player you mentioned, I'm pretty sure that is the guy from Mexico. He has two accounts but I can't remember either name right now. The bizarre thing is that sometimes he doesn't pull. I cannot understand his behavior. He is pretty good at the game too so I don't get why he pulls. He obviously is a ranking whore! =)

A Pai player with a 90 percent win ratio? You're most likely talking about Templario IV. I remember a while back I was about to take Master rank from this fool and he pulled on me.
