Bad Games Thread

I think its the combination of making you wait for the auto confirm in the waiting screen AND the turtling.

And yeah I think any turtler needs to be hated on. Its a shity style of play and only done when you obviously suck ass.

 

It wouldn't be so bad, but yes, he makes you wait, then he turtles, then he does maybe 2 diff stand alone moves and 2 combos. And then when he does win he pounces repeatedly, he just fails as a human being and VF fighter on every level. but on the bright side, seeing his plummeting ranking puts a smile on my face /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

bad games to Manjimaru...I was about to win his Sarah and then he pulled on me. Geez, take your loss like a man folks!

 

I dont pull midmatch. It should be visible that its a connection issue if disconnect happens when doing a move. I only have two hands.

wasn't there, can't say what happened, but its not hard to push the power button with your bigtoe, i do it everytime i turn off the 350 (not during matches of course, but when i'm done playing) cause i'm too lazy to bend over and use my hand. I'd like to believe you wouldn't pull manji, b/c you seem to be one of those peeps thats a wealth of knowledge on here, and i guess i've just come to assume you are one of the elite on here, but i think anyone will/would pull if they get frustrated enough. I know there have been a few times in my 4500 games where i got so frustrated that i pulled, but i always feel super guilty about it later. guess i'm rambling.

 

Oh my bad Manjimaru...lol ggs anyhow. It was weird b/c I was about to stomp on you and then the game just disconnected so I wasn't sure. Never played you before so I don't really know who pulls...I guess I've had it done to me so many times that I just automatically think everyone is pulling when it could be connection issues. Again, sorry.

If you're going to attempt to DC at the end of every match, at least get the hairy nut sack out'cho grill and do it before it actually gives me a win and you another loss.

 

Aww BDouble isnt so bad, really the only person that annoys the shit out of me is Unico711. I dont know how he plays you guys, but he does 3 moves against me. Low punch,sweep and DMPK. Witch isnt too hard to stop except I cant stop it when I play him. Or if I can he low punch throws me and does 15 backdashes.

 

Yeah, I got the same kind of match when I played Unico711. I actually saved it, cuz I was just...I don't know. He just did dmpk over and over, I mean one round he did it 3 times in a row. I figured out when he was gonna do it, and punished accordingly, but I just thought he'd play differently I guess....

 

I saved mine too as a reminder. Ill need to practice against that.

 

Agreed on Unico711. Highly, highly annoying spamming SOB.

 

Wow, just working on getting myself reacquainted with the game and there are still fools to watch out for. Oh joy....

 

Unico can be defeated easily. Guard 2k+g and either toss his ass or use a circular. Dont go for 2p afterwards.

 

Wussup, Cadorna. Regarding Unico711, he's hardly a spammer. He might appear that way coz he sticks to moves that work on his opponent. Yeah, it may seem annoying at first but once you get around them, be prepared for a total shift in his play style.

Maybe you guys haven't played him enough, but I've played him so many times that imo, he's one of the greatest Brad players I've face on Live, along with Blahzie.

And like KingofCarnageVF and UKDiddy did, saving replay matches against him is a great way to figure out where you're going wrong and that's one way I improved a lot against him. His matches are fun...so I mentioned him in the GGs thread /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

 

I'v played him and i'm not a big fan. I think i won a couple lost a couple, but yeah...ditto on everyone else's complaints. I'll give more props to someone who wins 60% using a variety of attacks trying to master the full arsenal of a charactar than to someone who wins 70-80% abusing a charactars most advantagous moves. But thats just me. tho in the matches i shut him down he didn't seem to have anohter answer....but i'm not complaining about that, i was happy for it, hahaha.

 

Ive played him too and all he does is PPP spam and changes his spam patterns if i get wise to it.

 

Who does the guy use again?

 

He uses Brad. I respect his play because if he's such a spammer, we should all be whooping him. He knows when to stop using something, and switch up. It's ugly but it's effective. Also you will find his defense isn't all there but it's hard to get past Brad's natural force field of an offense. I have played many games with this guy and can't stand sometimes losing to the repetition, but he's smart enough that when it stops working, even once, he switches up.

Cadorna I am shocked you got mad at this because you do the same thing! Granted, his p spam is uglier than your moves. Again, I respect it because when it stops working you usually switch up. I'm a little guilty of this myself. Why stop doing something that works, especially in ranked? When you hit me with the same move 5 times in a row, I get mad at myself, not you or him. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

I'll vouch that Cadorna never spams anythig against me. Sometimes i think he'd do better against me if he did!! He doesn't go with the take that kick, the long shuffle side kick, or the evade throws much against me. (could be b/c i duck and punish the first two). Anyways, i respect a vane player who just plays the game, thats why i wanted to throw a little defense his way. But obviously, i can't say how he plays against other people, just our matchups.

 

Hey, I just want to ask you guys about spam.

What is spam for you guys? For me, many players use spam who doesn't understand how to play VF, or doesn't know how to attack and deffence.

And I think most of American players are spammers. Because seems like you guys don't understand how to deffence.

Of course I know very good VF players use spam sometimes, even great JP players. And I use spam sometimes when I thought I should change my style and some other reasons.

And I was thinking spam is abare in Japanese, is it true?

I'm not making fun to American players. I just wanna know what is spam for US players.
