You should probably save face now, because I was merely trying to ruffle Darth's feathers. He held off, but apparently, you fell for it hook, line and sinker. Please continue and try to show us that you knew that all along.

 

Have you played offline much/ever? Maybe you're just that accustomed to the latency that it feels "normal" for you. The lag between Japan and the US (at least the West Coast) is definitely there and real. While some players can adjust enough over time, others consider it awful and avoid it at every opportunity.

And you can completely forget about Japan to the East Coast. </div></div>

Sorry I meant throw-evading Wolf's DMPK, not evading. And no, I never ever, play offline. My friends are addicted to Modern Warfare, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Halo: Reach (rolls eyes). Don't people ever get sick of playing FPSs exclusively?

 

Is lag asymetric??
I don't think using a regular phone call can prove that, doesn't it? If it's true, that maybe can describe something I never understand.

 

It would also explain why you never play me, because whenever I fight you I see very little lag, but you claim to observe a lot. I always assumed you were sparing my feelings because you don't want to fight a n00b

 

I think erdraug may be right. I just remembered playing Mista Tee and sometimes the lag would be heavier on my end and sometimes heavier on his. Sometimes I would play him and it seemed like there was no lag whatsoever. I could punish -11 with PK but things that he was trying to do weren't working because of lag. Then there were times when I had +2 or +3 and my 2P would get beat by his.

Lol @Emx's post about crying. I'm guessing that the crying will never stop because we all have to go through growing pains in this game.

"Waaah, such move sucks" or "Waaah, such character sucks" and so forth. I guess it's just something that all of us have to go through in order to grow. Sad thing is, some of us don't grow. Some of us stay stuck on the same wrong mindset for years.

Erdraug, I'm not going to get into a back and forth with you about lag. The gist of my post wasn't about lag itself as much as it was about the choices made within the fight.
This is the last I will say on the subject:
Regardless of lag, this is a competitive game. The object is to outwit your opponent not out-cry them. If you have issues, get some tissues, change your reactions, come back and try again.
If you have PROGRAMMED yourself to react to (for example) a blocked 33P from Goh (-12) with PK, good for you, offline specially. BUT if online Goh is doing P+K to sabaki your P (at -12), grab you and throw you... and every single time that you block Goh's 33P you continue going for PK because it "should work", then yeah, you can call that guy a lag abuser... hell, you could even call him a dick... OR...
YOU COULD LAUNCH HIM THE NEXT TIME HE TRIES THAT SHIT.
If you continue getting your Punch sabaki'd in that scenario, then you are playing on auto-pilot and you should work on fixing that.

The choice is yours. Bitch, whine, moan and piss about like I did about DMP+K... OR... delay attack and launch them (just one way of dealing with it).
Here's another example: You should always take your guaranteed damage but if your opponent always ETEG'S after say Shun's 8K+G but he never TE's a certain direction, you should use that throw. Specially if it does more damage than PK.
Anyways, I'm done. I won't be chiming in with anything else so feel free to take my advice or prove it wrong.

Just try to keep an open mind, specially when you play online.

Your reply is interesting, and I'm curious how you judge that very ltttle lag between us? Actually you asked me the same thing on XBL, and have you ever tried what I said on XBL PM? It looks like you probably just skip it~

Btw, there is no noob stuff, you are over reative. The only reason I don't play is because of lag, nothing personal~

 

Sorry I forget what you told me on XBL? Was it going in the dojo, cause I've practiced ETE and fuzzy a tad but i have little patience for it cause most of the people i play don't try mids/throws after -5 blocks.

I just said there is no lag cause it seems fine to me. Plus, no hard feelings either way I was just saying what I thought, but if its lag then ok. You'll kick my ass either way lol

 

Good advice, I know it's all on me. I need to work on my delay game among many other things because I usually never wait between attacks/throws.

The major reason is I couldn't crouch.
Jacky's P+K K and 4P1P are the examples here. And even I block your 4P1P, your 2P+K KKK could hit my elbow.(Jacky's 4K+G is the same, and your following 2P hit my elbow too)

After a few matches he pulled and send me a nice little message with probably every insult the spanish vokabulary has to offer.
But the sad thing isn´t that he is a douche, but that he wasn´t even so bad and had some potential...

Hehe, the guy speaks english, he sent me a long hate message over a year ago about my gay ass Pai.I didnt reply and he sent another 2 msgs, each one getting more pissed off and angry.Those msgs kept me amused for weeks. It cheers me up just seeing his tag again

Umm, the Spaniards are a bit tricky to translate because even though they swear to have the original and best Spanish, they can really butcher it far worst than any other Latin people can.

Anyways, here goes:

Super bad games to my cat for slingin the last of my tree on the floor. Of course it was shake so it was a wrap. It looked like she was chasing her tail in circles which she never did n i'm like "wtf is up witer" look to my side n my bag is gone look to see what she's chasing, YES!! Bag is stuck on her dam back foot! Grabbed it, and it was friggin empty.
