Oh my bad, I misunderstood the thread. And true to the amount of bad video games there are, if it weren't for bad games being around, there would be little to no way to improve them in their respective series or other series they influence.

This has been a long time coming... here it goes.

Bad games to Happyfriend Lau last night.

It's pretty shitty when good players like you (yes, you're good) pull the kind of crap you did last night. I don't care to hear your excuses about not wanting to play Shun, especially when we've probably logged about only 10 matches in the last two years. The fact is, I want to play you, and I enjoy playing you. I don't know if you're sulking, whining, or making excuses in your own mind why you feel you don't need to play me, but it's pathetic.

For everyone wondering why I'm posting this, it went like this...

Last night around 11PM I see Happyfriend Lau on player match. I was excited and picked him right away. In the back of my mind though I am already wondering if he won't play me beyond one match, which is stupid to be thinking but he has a track record for this. I don't let this deter any aggressiveness on my part because I want it to be a good match with all of my efforts. I can't remember who one the first and second round but it was 1 to 1, and then I got an excellent the next two rounds in a row. I would say this was lucky and Happy just needed time to adapt, but as I thought, instead of having the desire (which makes you better) to play me again, he quickly quits.

As expected he is hosting right away again. Some minor credit is due now at this point because he did play me again. Unfortunately now this crap has gotten to my head a bit and I couldn't play with the zeal I should have been. It's kinda like, if you were playing a local match with a friend and he either kept complaining about getting his ass beat or you felt bad because you were beating him down so badly, you might adjust your style a bit. This is exactly what I did, but albeit mostly unintentionally.

Because of this I proceeded to lose the next match. Good! Let's get it on! For now (just for now), a little more credit is due because Happy chose to rematch this time instead of quitting. I proceeded to lose three more matches for a total of four in a row, and they were all pretty intense, heated matches, and fun! Here is where I strip all remaining credit away.

Just as much as I always try to win 5 in a row because it's a fun and lofty goal, I equally try not to let it happen to me. So after the fourth loss, I tried to empty my head of the bullshit that I'm feeding myself because of Happy's early quitting and getting double excellented in order to not lose a fifth round in a row.

Can you all guess what happens next? I win. He quits!

Shame on you, Happyfriend Lau! Shame on you.

 

Lol i think its cuz I invited him lol. If I can't find games I'll invite people out of whatever they're doing at that moment. If you're on the john, make a trail to the xbox.

We played like allll night man and he was swingin hard. Lau got some dirty ass moves lol. We disconnected but we still kept playing afterwards and when we were done I switched to kage and we played more lol.

I got a lot of hate last night:

"ur not good ur ground attacks are lame and repetitive, put in halo if u wanna get down" -Kush Bluntzzzz

"wow ur cheap" - Afghanada a Jacky player that when I realized all he does is punch, I abused the hell out of ying yang stance and low sweep with Aoi.

"learn more then 2 moves noob boy" - TrueSOB an El Blaze player that was winning the first match then I came back and beat him. After that he ran out of the ring for the next 2 matches then sent me that message.

All these players were plainly new to the game, and while I am glad to see new players, the attitude these people showed needs some improvement. While I don't really like using the same moves over and over, when the other person doesn't change up, I have no real reason to change what is working.

The same night I played against DrFamilia and we had a series of great games in which I got beaten 8 out of 10 matches. So last night wasn't all bad.
