Bad Games Thread

Um, DS WS+p is a 13f mid. I use it loads. That shit is cheap. I guess it depends on what you mean by, “advantage.” She has very few frame advantage moves in DS and can't punish well, but she just can sabaki and evade and keep you in lock down like a bitch

So um I probably shouldn't respond to this but um... from my understanding backing up and letting someone wiff and then hit them works in boxing and MMA not just tekken right? I don't know. Heaven forbid we all play so predictable....

 

Yeah, your right, but not all the time like a tekken match. I thought vf prided itself on close range balanced battling? I guess I was wrong all this time, wow! Thanks for clearing up my misunderstanding. Oh well, gotta go catch some fish now.

VF prides itself on close range battling? You mean like a person? I don't know man, you HAVE been playing this game longer than a lot of us so maybe you ARE better qualified to say what VF should and shouldn't be.

I do agree with Mista Tee though on the whole "we shouldn't play so predictable". Like for example if an opponent is never going to get abare then that only makes it easier to beat them.

 

It's not about rank it's about maintaining the win-ratio.

 

I've lost to people before that I was technically better than, but it was because of lag. I've blocked low punches only to be launced by a WS attack as I tried to counter afterwards. I'm through getting pissed off about it. I don't play ranked matches anymore. My win ratio was in the 30 percentile range and it used to bother me but now I don't really care. We all develop muscle memory to deal with certain situations that we have to change in laggy matches. I'm not really willing to invest my time in doing this, but I suppose that if you do while still being able to react normally when there is no lag, you'll develop some flexibility in your brain. I've gotten to the point now where if I lose to an "inferior" player in lag I just brush it off and don't care too much about it. There's no sense in getting mad over it, though I've been there. As for the hate mail, the majority of people who play VF in the U.S. are casual gamers who don't know what they're talking about. Just laugh at their stupid comments.

Recently, I messaged tonyfamilia about a YouTube comment made by some guy pertaining to his win over VFnumbers in a match they had. He said it was a cheap win and that he didn't respect him. We both laughed about it. I might reply to his comment if I'm in the mood to stir shit up. I've done that on XBL in the past.

Hey VFnumbers, if I do decide to reply to his comment, pretty please can I have your permission to tell him that you think he's a moron? XD

permission granted tony saved that match simply for the hai p+k charged at point blank range and brad did 66k i still remember that match and was like OH SNAP I saved it also wait wrong vid of hai p+k charged under brad 6p maybe it wasnt saved but oh well

All I had to do was check tony's vid thread. It didn't take that long. I still don't know if I want to bother responding. Haven't been bored enough lately.

 

I think the guy got his wording wrong, I think he was just upset about was the fact that VFnumbers launched Tony when he had a slither left and he could have ended the match but he messed up or something. I feel the same way but honestly that's probably the reason the match was uploaded because Tony's comeback was sick!

 

any ideas who this frueaufsteher might be?

I know how you feel Shirt. My win/loss was like 5/95 yesterday. I found out that I was using my guard button way too much. Could not side step and punch, kick or combo's didn't come out completely etc.
My apologies to my opponents, I am not a high skilled player but yesterday my Aoi was like a statue. I need to fix that ^_^'

yesterday i played him the first time and beat him several times with kage and my shitty sarah. i gave him ggs per mssg & in the VFDC ggs thread. but 2day he played like an assho*e!!
ALWAYS the same 2 combos and NONSTOP 2P!!
i message'd him why he always 2p and the same combo, then he reply'd i should fu*k myself and i'm an ass*ole...
i hope you change 2 tekken you STUPID APE!!

I dont know, I play Nik a lot and he's a very good, friendly guy. You must have been up to something to piss him off, I think. what where you up to? your usual DMPK, 2P stuff? maybe you should stick to play shackal81, you guys have exactly the same fighting style.
