You're not the authority on who can or cannot post in a thread.

If anything, Chibiaya is sharing and speaking from personal experience which was prevalent on these forums in recent history.

You know i like you KO, and i think you need to hear this from someone who welcomes you with open arms to the VFDC community, and someone who is happy to defend you when the its necessary. And (sorry myke) its what Myke has been trying to get across to you, but from a less classy and much more frustrated point of view.

Take it from a "new-school Vet" of the site: quit commenting so much on everyone else's posts. In the good games thread, give out good game shout outs. In the bad games thread, comment on people YOU HAVE PLAYED that were deserving of a bad game. Don't be so quick to defend other players, to attack other players, or to comment on other players.

And before you counter with "yeah, but i see so many other people commenting on other peoples posts....." yeah, and many of htem (myself included) shouldn't be doing it either. But many of them (myself included) have at least earned a place within the community first.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way.

Don't worry, just keep playing Quest and I believe you are going to have a huge improvement asap!! Secondly, I think you shouldn't care about victory too much. I don't even remember we had totoal 7 matches yesterday, and I could tell you became something wrong during our last match, such as setping my boday and standing there with nothing. That's the reason why I quited because there was no meaning to play any further.
Like what I said, if you are a slight player, you can do whatever you want. But if you really like this game and you are eager to reach next level, you still have a long way to walk. Everyone here had the same experience, once you pass it, and you can tell VF is 10 times better and fun more than what you think right now!!! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I don't take it the wrong way, we are friends and I enjoy that you are helping me out. I understand what your saying, just post in every thread depending on what the topic itself is about kind of thing. I don't mind the way Myke talks to me I suppose I deserve it, not that I like it, but I deserve it. I'll try and cause less trouble~ until I have earned a place within the community first /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

May the good spirits of yoga be with you.

Kamais for VFDC mod? He's got my vote!

Man this kid just doesn't know when to quit. Kamais keep it up... keep finding those unusual angles to piss people off. Don't worry uncle Myke won't ban you... or will he? *giggles*

*no response is needed Kamais... it's a sarcastic post if you couldn't tell *

Believe me I've already stopped playing all other fighting games except for VF. All my other fighting games just don't compare. They are still good games but I just enjoy VF's fighting engine above say DOA's or SC's. But with this you don't get a whole lot of local players around where I live. Nobody plays it in SW MO. I forget who said this originally but no local competition=no growth.

I was thinking of saying some nasty shit upon reading this, but after talking with Matteo this morning in the shoutbox and reading SMB's post near the top of the page, something has clicked inside me. Enough is fucking enough, I've thought about it and it's time to change. I want to make a name for myself but instead with the road I'm taking my name is going to be eradicated from Myke. People care about me as I do of them and I refuse to be banned because I'm acting like a retard, I now understand that I need to change some stuff about myself and instead of the way I am now, be more productive in the community. It's good once in a while maybe but I'm going too far like almost everyday and it's unacceptable. I praise Myke's patience, if I was him I would have banned "kamais" a long time ago, but dammit I don't want to disappoint or keep on angering him anymore and as a matter of fact that goes towards anyone else around here. I felt like I should bring that out of my system, thanks to anyone who bothered reading it all lol, but know I take what I say seriously, prepare for a new me! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

May the good spirits of Yoga give me the physical and mental discipline to convert myself into something better for the community.

You're gonna lose man, and you're going to lose a lot. It's how it goes when you're first starting out, especially when you're going against everyone on here who's been playing for a while. The good thing is if you're serious about getting better, you'll learn from every lost and continue to grow. So just keep at it. I use Kage, so if you ever want to get some games in, send me an invite.

In other news, I'm gonna be lame and say bad ju-ju to me for sucking so bad on a stick. However, I am now fully committing to learning how to play on a stick, so I can someday go to one of these SoCal or NYG events and at least be able to hang a bit. It's rough, but I've got a new found respect for all you guys. Being able to move the way you guys do with a stick is inspiring to me, and I won't stop until I'm there with you guys. Until then, bad ju-ju to me. And when you play me online and I'm not playing up to where I usually am, you know why.

3-13 against UKDiddy. Upside is that I might be showing signs of *gasp* improving! A lot of the matches I came back from two rounds down to keep myself alive but he would win the match. So close but so far away.

Don't need a progress report of your losses. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

If you're playing against someone and always losing, those aren't necessarily bad games. If you're genuinely trying to beat someone and not using ultra-scrubby tactics (i.e. endless PPP), as well as not disparaging your opponents, cable-pulling, etc., then I don't think your performance makes the games bad. I have the impression that most people here will appreciate you continuing to play with them and trying to get better.

I played against BETABOW today and was devastated by his Lau. My inexperience combined with the horrible lag, at least on my end, led me to lose many matches in a row. But you know what? I did my best to play through the lag, and learned some things as well. He even sent me a message afterwards: "ggs"

And honestly, who cares about losing repeatedly against people with tons more experience than you? It's like boxing with Mayweather and expecting to win even one round. You really need a lot of patience and dedication to get good at this game.
