Fuunji i think the <u>real</u> problem is that having the computer on will cause VF5 online to have lag spikes.

Bdoubleblade, you have to understand, even if when you're not actively browsing the web (i assume you're not downloading stuff, that'd be proposterous) your computer still sends and receives data packets to your ISP in order to maintain its internet connection. VF is a game that requires frame-like precision. You do the math.

If youre bored while waiting for someone to join your VF5 session read a book, play some gameboy (i finished FE:TTS while ranking to 7th dan), do some abs, do the dishes, take up knitting, whatever, just <u>turn your PC off</u> while playing VF5 online.

...we should put this disclaimer on the VF5 online FAQ.

So yesterday for some reason there wasn't anybody on player, and for the 1st time in about a year I went over to ranked.

So this 6th dan wolf with 174 wins and 4 losses joins my game. I knew exactly what was going to happen, but I just wanted to practice my side throw escapes lol.

 

I went through the same exact shit you went through. Grusser-or whatever played me for three and ran to Halo (or DOA4...i forget now -_-) after he took master from me. I had already gotten demoted to 8th or 9th by the time Killa Ken finally got around to playing me (2 days later).

You jabronies gonna be on the receiving end of an ass-whuppin' ANYWAY...why prolong the shit? Just get it done and move on with the rest of your day/night.

 

If I had the ability to warp, instead of using it for the good of humanity and personal gain, I would warp straight into the homes of pullers and as they're pulling say in a very soft and surprising voice, "What do you think you're doing?" Just imagine the fun!!!

he pulled during the match each time. sometimes i would let it go to 5th round take off just enough for a throw to kill, as i am in the middle of the throw he would pull, and damn he was fast too i guess lots of practice at pulling.

 

Not two seconds after I get back on VF5 I go to Players and the first dude that fights me is Jons Up. White Worm, you were NOT lying about this guy. So he beats me with spam and then I do a little better but at moments I think he took his hand off the stick. What the hell is up with some of these folks? This dude makes it seem like AdruptAddyPaddy doesn't 2p all that much now -_-

about2produce: 10th dan Lion who stopped low-blowing me long enough to go to the usual scubby long distance game. Neither helped him very much and he pulled after I knocked him down for the 15th time in a row -_- Damn, I thought Ranked was in a sorry state before...

 

Great advice PLague : I think this is one of the hardest things to do with online play ,, especially with the rank.. I got caught up on the rank when i first played online,, but now i think i just care about playing good people well. I feel slight shame when Tony / kingflash rape me,,but its ok, its all about the fun of learning the game.

Last Night i was playing with tricky. I was pretty excited, because is really rare for me play with one of you guys.. BUT at the second round's end tricky disconnected... What's happened man? I don't want belive you didn't want lose... Connection problem?
