Bad Games Thread

I was wondering about this... damn. Coz and I had a session yesterday where we got booted twice mid match. If that happens to me in rank I'm breaking stuff. I need 2 wins vs. 10th dans to get out of Master hell.

 

Yes, he is terrible. You forgot that he uses a lot of 2p and a lot of Kage distance crap.

I personally don't mind 2p (without bad lag) but when mixed up with DMPK it is very powerful because all your high circulars get stuffed.

Thank god Lau has 66p+k

I actually can't imagine a cheaper, more annoying, less skill-intensive way to play a character.

SEGA messed up with DMPK. It does nothing but make the game dumber.

 

That's cause you've never played against your Lau.

Geez dude, I guess "annoying" is subjective. I don't use DMPK or play a super defense intensive style so I wouldn't find me annoying. And sure I am not the most skilled player since there's definitely people who can beat me easily, but if my game shows no skill then what does that say about you and the other people that I can win most of the time against?

 

ok i know this is a very late reply but a few things need answered.

1. its not Starnab, poor chap taking all the beatings for my video.

2. thank you to feck for the SDE pointer.

3. the ring out was on purpose, i was losing the will to continue so i figured that with him backing of to the edge to TFT me i figured id ring myself out to save him the effort.

4. that was the 1st and only match i played him so when he backed off to the edge at the beginning i instantly assumed everything he would do would be lame i.e. 2p`s, DMPK`s and TFT ringouts.

5. i played shocking myself and people have offered good advice but i did adapt and still won even though i gave away a round by ringing myself out. it just was not a fun game and i do not know why people take pride in playing that way and thats what made it a annoying game.

I wish the escape from TFT pushed kage back 10 ft towards the closest edge of the ring!!! So when u TE it kage would go flying out of the ring. Actually, i think this would be a nice touch for most ring-out based throws.

Yeah, SF has its moments, but it is nowhere near as good as VF even with my gripes about VF5. Hopefully people will start to go back to VF gradually. And maybe we will get R. Maybe.

 

Yeah, I just got SF... But I need to keep my VF going at the same time. It's just, there almost nobody good in player or ranking all the time. You can only get like good 30 mins out of it.

 

I actually stopped playing SFIV yesterday and went back to VF online. There's just something about the repetition of SF that bores the hell out of me. So I jump on VF online and what do I find? A bunch of players who do the same move over and over again. *Sigh* But there was this one player who had a really good shun and added me to his/her friends list.

 

Maybe I just played Alpha 3 too much, but I really miss air blocking. Chun li is way harder to play now in my opinion and those backjumping akuma air fireballs are sooooo tedious...

well every time I turn on my 360 I go to vf first but either no one is on or no one wants to play with me /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif so I end up playing sf. then the same thing happens lol. what's with all the hate!

anyone played that lau japanese guy. Samuraisun234 or something like that. I think he was pretty good, but i'm not sure cause i was playing so bad. bgs to me. There, now it fits in this thread
