OK maybe I should explain why I keep posting in the BG thread,

I am quite good at teaching stuff in real life….I have studied languages all my life and therefore I have been taught a lot, so it’s kind of natural for me to try to teach others what I learned….

I have always been like this though…when I was little I would lend my toys to my friends and have them broken, or never got them back lol.

A few people here can testify that I am good natured and take my losses with grace. Losing is not an issue for me, and I never complained about one particular move or set of moves…. And I have to be realistic: I am 34 years old; I don’t have the time to find out all the counters to all the possible tricky situations in VF5, because the game is way too deep for the amount of time I can play (maybe one or 2 hour a day).

OK, so all that intro was a disclaimer just to say: I know I suck, thank you.

The thing about some of the vets and good players here is that they are bad teachers! Your attitude is comparable to a teacher who does not explain things clearly, and refuses to repeat himself when asked, and likes to humiliate his students, taking the piss and taunting…

Anyway, this is not something I have the power to change…I guess this kind of sensitivity comes with age, and most of you guys here must be teenagers or early 20’s, so it’s reasonable that you don’t understand what I am trying to say….

Pl4yer 7, if that is true than I won't hold it against you, but that random shit that was sent to me was highly disrespectful and you should really watch who you let play like that because your account could end up banned. I go to UK and I've heard some dumb shit before, but that definition pushed me over the edge when I read that mess. But anywayz, I'm not one to hold a grudge so I'll let it go, but I'm not the only one getting hateful messages either so you really should control who gets on YOUR account and sends dumb messages like that.

 

see. I call bullshit. I see a guy who goes off because he loses and uses a word that gets attention. except that he got too much attention because people are talking about reporting his ass and potentially getting his account pulled.

so now he has other people accessing his account which should make everything cool. I say you all still report him, and he should consider the cost of getting a new LIVE account the price of A) being a dumb, racist fuck B) being a dumb fuck who lets other people represent him.

Either way it's one less dumb fuck on LIVE and that alone is a positive thing.

I got a "nice" message today from that guy about how he's not like that and blahblah but I say the same thing: it's time for you to get a new account and start over.
How can you be "black" and your "brother" and "friends" write shit like this from your account?
It's ridiculous. I can guarantee that you will never get racist messages from my account and if any of my "friends" or "fam" did this, somebody is getting punched in the mouth (unless it's a female, then all I can do is tell her to not touch my xbox).

I disagree with Chefboy and agree with Cozby: this thread needs to remain alive in order for us to vent our rage otherwise our grievances will turn to bile and flamewars.

I say we put him on a corrective action plan and keep a close eye on him. If there are further problems we can do the death march file complaint en masse.

Pl4yer7: on your end talk to your little brother, or talk to your parents about your little brother and his friends actions. Tell them all you have recieved a warning that if this action persists or happens again, you will be banned. Which is only slightly misleading.

The action on this acct is wildly erratic enough that i am leaning towards the fact that this could have been a little brother incident (tho not 100% sold). Pl4yer was very respectful when i played him, even tho i won nearly all, plus we all know how stupid little kids can be, especially when being egged on by friends.

I still don't know though. kids and most friends don't just pick up the sticks and play halfway decent. This is virtua fighter, not DOA. It takes a little dedication to even dodge effectively and I just doubt his little brother or friends are really trying to get into that. That's the part that gets me. Then again, it's not the first time I've played him, but it is the first time that I've received hate mail like that. Anywayz, I guess I'm gonna drop it for now before I hear anyone else is getting the shame shit, than I say report it. Ignorance like that should get no excuse, but I guess I'm a forgiving guy.

also when im not around i will be hiding my vf so i should be the only one playin from this point on. also talked to my bro who said he had no idea what happened,I still have my doubts. If you feel the need to file complaints when you get offensive messages i completely understand, I do the same myself. Also shouts to cozby and shaka zulu 1 for some of the illest vf games i ever had.REALLY improved my game guys thx.

 

I've had hate mail like this alot, over a span of many different games, and alot of times it's when you don't even say anything or type a thing to the other guy.

It's alot easier to just be impartial or indifferent to things, that way this stuff should not bother or effect you. Sad thing is it just makes you even more indifferent and desensitized.

 

Just wondering but how old is your brother anyway? It's important to me.
