Yeah ok, those who know of the thread now can certainly do that, but what about those who have no knowledge of this thread?

Can't there be some way to have this thread readily available for people to quickly link to, especially if they are visiting the site for the first time?

I mean, how can you bookmark this thread when you don't even know about it in the first place?

I dunno, that's a tough one. How can a new guy who is looking for media stumble across a post containing a lot of good movies?

It's a mystery, unless the visitor is able to read. Then they can see the media board listed under versus city. By clicking the media board they can see the thread. What happens, you might ask, when they thread is 25 posts lower on the page? Well, assuming our new guy doesn't have the initiative to dig that deep, they'll just have to settle for the links posted in any one of the dozen or so active media threads, which churn out something like 5-10 new movie links a day.

But! you say "this madagascar thread has them sorted by character, and that's useful!" ... this is true, but then again, nearly every person who posts new media now takes the time to state which characters are playing in which movies. It takes very little effort to find VF4 media, and only a tiny bit more to download specific characters.

But! you say "vfevo.com's movies here are handy because they never go down!" ... well they will if they're direct linked and staring every new visitor in the face from the moment they stumble upon the site. People will stop downloading stuff from the source and just wait for vfevo.com to mirror it, shifting a lot of bandwidth from the original site to our helpful korean friends. This could cause them to enact even stricter measures to prevent direct links and leeching, or they will simply not be able to afford the traffic and scale back their movies drastically. Beyond all that, even if vfevo.com is reliable, so are sites like am.sega, and whatever you choose to download from there will be hot and fresh.

So that's why this isn't going right on the front page or being made a sticky... although myke wants to link the threads the character sections. Since people tend to ignore the character sections, having the threads linked there makes some sense. It's a reward for making the effort to go through one or two logical clicks.

how about.. a thread with links to the top media threads ever (this one, sega-am2, act media, team tabara, etc, etc) stickied at either the top of character/junky forums or just as a permenent link at the top of the forum page

the thing is, the "top media threads ever" isn't that useful because most links die after a stretch. Daioh was once a great thread, and you can generally count on them to come back to life, but putting the daioh thread somewhere prominent would be pointless at the moment. Team tabara put out a bunch of stuff all at once and now it's dead. Am-sega is a consistent supplier but all the old links are worthless, only the links posted in the past few days are any good.

Basically my point is that the media board does the job automatically... the threads that are good and that are worth visiting at any given moment will have the most recent posts and will therefore be right at the top of the media board (which anyone should be able to find).

If a thread isn't at the top of the media board and/or isn't immediately findable, it's probably worthless and full of dead links.

in the first wolf clip, who is the person from C.Chaps playing as wolf? i can't make out the first symbol of his name, so all i can make out is:

is that symbol kanji?... anyhow, i'd just like to say that wolf has some amazing low throw yomi, and some unorthodox combo methodsi!!

Oshu uses Brad in a couple of those replays and he's dam flashy too. I know he uses Akira and Sarah didn't know he'd started on Brad.
