I don't know that it is completely null. enough of the same questions come in highlighting a perceived flaw and maybe, just maybe, the producer might see the need/market for a patch.

i sent in a question awhile ago asking why they made such a big deal about the game being a perfect arcade port but them not releasing an arcade worthy joystick like the vfshg or hrap3 in the u.s.

like they had all these great reasons why online isn't doable but they still want us to play it on a low grade stick like the fighting stick 3 or sixaxis.

if they are going to market it as one of if not the greatest technically played fighting games then they should include or make the tools readily available to play it the way it is meant to be played.

blah, i just think it's garbage that so many true fans of the series had to pay twice the amount more of what the game costs just to play the game how it's designers intended. (no disrespect to the pad warriors out there but those skills won't help you if you ever get to play on a candy cab)

    -_-

Click "Game Info". Click "What's New"... I swear, this is what you'll see:
[*]Improved AI brings greater interactivity
Never before have you been able to cause this much damage to your fighting environment. Send your opponent flying through a guard railing and watch it splinter and bust apart. If you slam your opponent down on a breakable, suck as wood or stone, it will leave a crack or a big hole.
Ummm.... What the fukuzzle does that have to do with AI?

Oh and "it does have thinks like Ten Strings" from Week 2 questions is hilarious as well.

Anyways... I just sent this e-mail:
[*]Hello, I am Cla from Selden, NY. I am very excited for VF5 and can't wait. But to the questions!

Why do Sega staff (of all countries) insist that no on-line is better than laggy on-line? In a Tekken-dominated America, it's very difficult and honestly rare to find other VF players locally even through message boards or other internet sites. I and many others would rather play laggy on-line matches than the AI.

Why has Sega not learned anything from the PS2 version of Evolution? The inability to have chars saved on two different memory card battle each other really kills the multiplayer experience.

I guess that brings up another question...

What's the point of working to decorate your chars if you can't bring them around to play against other people's decorated chars?

    Thank you very much.
Let's see if he has the balls to answer this stuff.

    Gotta love this:

Q: will there be a frame guide?

A: Even though I'm the producer, I'm actually totally clueless about VF, and so I think that all of the necessary frame information is already in the training mode.

Why did they even waste their time with this?

    My question~

After the initial release of Virtua Fighter 5, for the Xbox360. Will the Sony Playstation 3 get another upgraded version of this game? Like when Virtua Fighter 4 was released with an upgrade, Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution.

    He didn't really say that.

this is what he actually said.

Quote:

Q: Will there be a frame guide available for purchase?
    -Allan, TN

AA: Actually Virtua Fighter 5's Dojo training mode has all the frame info available from the start. You’ll be able to turn frame counts and hit detection on or off right from within the game.

Same thing. The guy doesn't have a clue.

Should someone try explaining to him the term "guaranteed counter" and describe what "advantage on hit/counter hit" means?

They probably picked him off the street and said "Hey, you... we need a producer. Can you use a computer?"
