If they make PS3 VF5 I'll buy it as soon as it comes out.

If they make VF5.2 a year later I'll buy that one too.

i thought toshiba developed the OS for the cell?

No they dont, Toshiba is the reluctant partner in CELL, they didnt want anything to have to do with CELL but are contractually obliged to produce half of the processors for Sony becouse they have a processor manufacturing deal that is a long term deal(the other half is made by IBM in their East Fishkill plant in the US)

Didn't Gohan destroy Cell at the end of the Cell Games?

Whatever system VF5 goes to I will buy that system on VF5 release day.

That's what I'm going to do. Plus the stick. Any more VFs, like Evo? I'll buy that too.

Knowing GLC, my guess is that was a sarcastic statement.

The reason I'll buy a PS3 is VF5, I'll only buy maybe 2 or 3 other games for it... Damn that will be a waste of money.

The reason I bought a PS2 was because of VF4, I only bought 3 other games for it... damn that was a waste of money.

The reason I bought a Dreamcast was because of VF3, I only bought about 10 other games for it..... Damn that was a waste of money.

The only reason I bought a Saturn was because of VF2, I own about 40 games for it... damn that system was pimp!

Yes I will buy it. & Yes I will buy it if there is an "evo" type upgrade.

If they can't go multi-platorm and must chose one console. I hope they chose PS3. (I want MGS4 hehe)

I'm confident that Hori will make sticks to compensate for crappy D-Pads

I bought a used PS2 for VF4Evo. Heck, Even bought a Tekken 5 Anniversry bundle, and gave T5 away just for the stick...

Whatever system VF5 comes out for will be the system I get, unless I save up and buy a cabinet... But with the 16x9 screens, those are going to be damned expensive.

"In an interview with 1UP.com, Peter Moore said that there is no plans for a Xbox 360 conversion of Virtua Fighter 5, and the DQVIII developer Level 5 does not have any plans to develop for Xbox 360, although they still have a relationship with the company."

So it looks like it's probably PS3 exclusive. Not really shocking news, but I know there were a few people hoping it would go to Xbox 360, or be multi-platform.

Pretty much means we won't see a home conversion of VF5 on the PS3 until 2007 earliest.

"1UP: You said before that the Japanese market is an important one for Xbox. Tell us why.

Moore: Well, I think, A), I still see this as the cradle of videogames. I still see some of the most creative people in the industry reside right here in Tokyo. We also see the importance of Japanese publishers, not only to the domestic market in Japan, but also their influence on the U.S. market and the European market, and perhaps equally importantly, to the broader Asian market. So when I think "Konami," I don't just think Konami in Japan, I think Konami with Pro Evo Soccer in Europe. And I think Sega with a great title, Condemned, which has done very well in its launch, Full Auto will come out, I think Sega with Sonic the Hedgehog, Virtua Fighter. I think Namco and Capcom--

1UP: So are you saying Virtua Fighter is going to come to Xbox 360?

Moore: No, no, I just think great franchises--although I would LOVE Virtua Fighter, what are we at, 5? to get there, and for Yu Suzuki to come back to the franchise and get it going on. But, that's for Sega to talk about. "

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sounds to me like he blurted out something he shouldn't have and then covered it up.

Interesting note: All other games mentioned are confirmed Xbox 360 titles.
