also, I got a look at it, and some of the stuff is pretty easy to figure out even without japanese... just from pictures and diagrams. It shows combos and flowcharts that you might find useful.

    And yeah, the DVD's killer.

I know this in an old post but I just wanted to make sure that this is the Perfect Guide

I saw another picture of something else and I thought that was the perfect guide.

The link you have their is indeed the Perfect Guide, but it's for VF4 Ver.C (i.e. not Evo!).

However, there is a Perfect Guide for Evo. The ISBN no. can be found in my Brad dojo, since I used it as one of my sources.

Note: the Perfect Guide(s) are different to the Green Book, and this thread is/was about the Green Book.

    GREEN BOOK: ISBN4-7577-1195-6
    PERFECT GUIDE: ISBN4-7973-2182-2

Put in the perfect guide just in case.

    BTW, there's a ver.B book out.

Once you get the Green Book and DVD, I've made a DVD cover for the folks interested. Did this awhile back. I know Green Book DVD owners will want it, so just email me with a "Green Book" subject or it may be considered spam with all the spam I get. But being from Hawaii, SPAM is great, but not eSPAM. I would have uploaded it, but bandwith monthly limitations and overall size considered, it's best to include it as an attatchment, and distribute it that way, unless someone wants to host it. The file will be sent as uncompressed .tiff . Although I can compress it as a .jpg with minimal loss for phone-liners.

    Some notes from Catch22:

This attatched document is a .jpg with a resolution of 300 x 300 dpi, thus the fairly large size (2MB +). This gets the details in the printout though.

If you do decide to resample it, or make it smaller, change dpi setttings only- like 96 dpi, or 72 dpi, so you don't change the aspect ratio when you do print it out. Real time measurements are 10.8 inches x 7.1 inches. So make sure you check the size if you are using an image editor. Of course, check your printer settings so it prints at 100%.

Myke, my VFDC is being really screwy. Is anyone else having problems?

I picked up the book today. Nothing special here, folks, it's pretty entry-mid level stuff. It does give info on Quest mode and how to get wallpaper, but even the items section isn't complete. More than likely I'll be using it for Quest Mode info, and that's it. I'm betting that SoftBank/Famitsu/Dengeki are making guides of their own that should turn out a lot better.

Ergh... I was just thumbing through the Quest Mode section. The words "Viper Grand Prix" in the glowing yellow font on one of the screenshots there immediately caught my eye and got me all excited, but it turns out it's just the tournmanet at one of the Quest arcades. GODDAMMIT AM2 DON'T DO THAT TO ME. (;_;)

Hehe, all the tournaments' names seem to be related to AM2 games. Virtua Cup (Cop) for example.
