Aoi is so cute!!!

Yeah this newbie here thinks she's cute too /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Anyway, I'm not cut-up to be a master like many of you and I just want to play a decent and enjoyable Aoi game. I only know the very basic commands of throws, basic counters, y-y stance I don't even know how to jump or sneak in an attack to a opponent lying long properly. I hope I won't waste the forum space that's used for high level discuessions. You guys have general strategies to recommend, particularly against button smashers using quick characters like Lion or damaging ones like Akira, with my very limited knowledge of the game? A million thanks, and someone please teach me the jump move and Aoi's nice looking 'trademark' move(S).

I think i missed something because i find her hideous to look at. Truthfully its the hair. I havent seen any of her other hair, becuase im to busy trying not to lose when i play /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

 

Get her japanese ponytail. Make it blonde if thats your thing.

 

Blondes have never been my thing. i like dark hair. I dunno, just me /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

 

I also find aoi very cute, just look at her in the select character menu look at her cute eyes, I can't get enough of it /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
And what cuter then a girl that know how to break your hand /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

I find Aoi to be very cute but in fighting skills she is weak compared to Pai there no doubt about that.

 

i wouldn't say aoi is weak compared to pai, but pai has an easier leaning curve then aoi does plus pai is alot faster, possibly the fastest charachter in the game along with the jab. Pai is my main fave player but im learning aoi and am really enjoying it. i really liked how somebody summed up her game how she can go from an attacking to a defensive style and still be at an advantage. Also out of all the ladys she by far is the best thrower and possibly one of the top 3 in the game maybe???. Having throws that end up in ,,,, is great for mixing up and keeping your opponents guessing unlike pai who sadly has 5 throws that end with and the ones that don't are setups but in no means am i saying pais throws are crap, just most of the time i find my throws being escaped.
