Yeah and Zico's on the cover, is that his name?, he's somewhat of a hero to the Japanese.

There's something to do with water, I don't know if you rehydrate the players or if its for training. But if they combined Dark Cloud and WE that would suck. What Ruud was thirsty and that's why he didn't score /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I just bought Winning Eleven for PS2, so far I think its great..hope it comes to the U.S. annually now. That said...I think I like FIFA 2002 the best, total control of the passes and chips is great, but give me more time w/WE.

Yay WE7 is out now, or has been for a week or two in Japan.
I got the game last week and have been playing regularly the last week, the best thing about the game is the new feints that you can do.

After some practice I can do most of them quite regularly now, you get a fantastic feeling when you manage to trick you’re opponent with these feints. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The game engine has also been tweaked of course, and for the better.

Is there and edited option file yet? That's whats hold me back this game is wicked text heavy. Though there are translated menus here.

So I guess I could live with it being Japanese.

I too am a huge Pro Evo fan. I've played for about 20 months now and I seem to live by it. I've played with csnape at uni for most of last year, and am now in my 18th Master League season on hard. I try not to reload and stuff so I haven't won all that much, though I got my first treble in the last hour /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It is probably the best sports game I have ever played, and easily the best two player game all-round - much as I love VF4, it's not quite as accessible to casual players as Pro Evo is.

Yeah the good thing about uni is that we had about 6 players who were all capable of beating one another in a match. Sometimes it was 1-0 , sometimes 5-4 maybe even other times 4-0 or something but it was definately the best 2 player game we had. Many late nights were caused by it as well as many screams and shouts up and down the corridors. I don't think I'll ever forget seeing Tom or Hanson playing it whilst sitting upside down leaning on their heads after a night of drinks /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.
