Any VF people in the Melbourne area ?

Looks like they have SFIV at Galactic Circus and It makes me mad, either because There is no comfirmation of VF5R, let alone VF5 in Melbourne, (by the way is the Highpoint story true?), and I suck at SF! If there was VF5R at GC, we wouldn't worry of a lockout because "this place never closes", and we would play VF all night long...

Yes, but Galactic Circus are reputably shit for joystick and button maintenance and doing nothing about it.

Hey Mike, as you know, my usual excuse is being busy with uni work (this is hopefully my final semester), but I've also been absorbed with learning SF4 lately as well

I haven't played VF5 in a long time - I'm still shit at it but I'll try to clear up my schedule and come up in the next two weeks. Just keep nagging me about it.

The addition of 3S and SSF2T is a nice touch as well.

Also: is Alex (or anyone else) still keen for OHN7 in Sydney this December 6th-7th? Myke said he'll run something if Melb VF people will rock up. Seeing as I'm crap at the game, I don't want to have to be the only person he's catering VF to, as it'd be a bit of a waste (and lack of challenge).

Not to mention that VF won't be my central focus during the time I'm there. Site is here.

I'm interested, but I most likely won't come. If I did, I would've brought my TV and PS2 and Evo with it, so you would've got almost retro stuff.

Instead I'll most likely be stranded at home. Because I don't think a fighting game tournament is a legitamite reason for my mother to let me travel with strangers to a city a bit far away. My ma just won't buy it, I haven't asked, but I know what will happen. She'll think it's shitty pipe dreams.
