thanks for the clips as always DRE.

great to see tunodei's shun in action again. i really hope he can take this one all the way through. this guy deserves to be in the national tourney imo, if only for his entertaining off the wall tactics.

    shun power!!!

he sure uses that new drinking move a lot. I'm surprised he still throws out chowan that often, and doesn't use [4][P]. Very interesting

yes!!! tsunodei finally makes it through! i was clenching my teeth through the tokyomegane and akira matches. both five rounders and both had tsunodei down on life in the last round. great instincts on tsunodei's shun. he uses shun's moves really well and doesn't fall into conventional patterns in clutch situations. mad props to him. hope he does well in the national tourney /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

have to give props to the akira player too. good instincts and nice eye for landing akira's big stuff. he doesn't seem as reliant on akira's new f,f+p+k,p as other players i've seen thus far which is pretty cool.

A portion of this match is missing due to equipment trouble at the event.

damn great matches all around. haijin played very well in general. great third and fourth round against DAI. nice use of qcb sabaki by mukki in the first match as well. and tsunodei as usual impressed me with his varied assortment of flowcharts and setups. wicked use of mule kick in his match against mukki.

its great that the mule kick, d+p, b,f+p,p,p works against just about everybody now. does anyone know if its also guaranteed on wolf an jeff in FT??

Wow... those were some amazing matches.

The first match was total pwnage, and then the rest were nice, close battles... really stellar play.
