National [ KAKUTOUSHINSEIKI III ] final convention It is invitation player determination specially! An invitation frame is now installed also in a convention specially following KAKUTOUSHINSEIKI II. I determined four persons' participation of the following which won the national conference held by KAKUTOUSHINSEIKI II? this time. National final convention "KAKUTOUSHINSEIKI III" It carries out to 44 players who won straight victories in the store primary and the area primary by the 48-person tournament game which added these four players. -

DAIHAOU CHOUMINAMIAKIRA [The KAKUTOUSHINSEIKI II championship]

TOUKON, high jin [OTENAMIHAIKEN 3 championship]

TEIOU homestay AKIRA [The final tournament championship]

    KENOU jin [OTENAMIHAIKEN 4 championship]

It will be carried out by separating in every three tournaments 16 person this time, since it became 48 persons' tournament.

Hmm, cool. It's good to know that Haijin and Minami are going to be competeing for sure.

At first I thought a 48 player tourney is not as exciting as 64, but I think they are starting to favor the round robin finals, since it's 1 match single elim, and we all saw what happened at OTE4, while Final Tournament was a really well played tournament, especially during the finals.

round robin is definately an improvement... but I don't know why they don't go for double-elim instead.
Or some sort of rounds system, with a cut to final top 8 or 16 who then play either single or double elim.

much like the tournament structure for trading card games (mtg in particular I'm thinking of) if any of you are at all familiar with that.

If it's not too much trouble can someone capture the stream vids & upload them to VFDC. Myke shouldn't have a problem w/ this idea.

Heruru is definitely my hero, I feel like I learn something new each time I watch him play.
