Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I won't be able to attend this event. I was looking forward to playing in my first ever one but sadly, its not meant to be (this time anyway). I wish everyone the best of luck and that you all come away with great experiences.

Yep I'll be reppin both characters, I'll flip a coin before each match, haven't played as Goh at all since feb/march but he's pretty braindead overall so a little special sparring this week should help shake off all the rust. It's a little too hot atm to wear my camo jacket so I'll wear my military cap for Vanessa.

 

I'm on the ferry to Dover right now, anyone else arriving tomorrow?

The Mayflash ones work, but don't expect them to perform flawless. I've heard reports about dropped inputs and lag with almost all available converters.
Unfortunately the good PS3/360 converters are out of stock at most sites(The one they used at WGC 2011). I have two decent PS3 to 360 converters but they tend to go haywire when vibration is activated and also have a slight input lag. Many SC players use PS2 to 360 converters.

edit: ahh just found the times on the FB page. 16:00-0:00. So I'll have plenty of time to see some of the city, get some stuff and check in at the hotel.

AFAIK there is only 1 PS3 into x360 lagless convertor available on the market, but the price is unreasonably high (75 USD or so)

 

I´ll arrive at 7.30 on Heathrow A. tomorrow and stay at Holtwhites, so I´ve got quite some time.
Anyone willing to meet up and discover the Town a bit? Probably even some other early arrivers from Holtwhites?

I'll arrive at Heathrow 2.05 PM tomorrow, staying at Lonsdale Lodge. I'll probably go to HoG as soon as possible if anyone's there when it opens.

 

The Hog will open at 12pm on Friday and it won't close till Sunday evening I believe. So you can play VF till you collapse really. Can't wait to see all the old faces and new ones!

 

Yeah it's a one use item so I think 70 quid would be too much.

 

I went out and checked out london for a bit today (at a snail's pace cos it's HOT), I still need to see westminster tho. I'd be willing to meet up, to play vf or see some sights, both are fine by me.

Btw buy an oyster card for public transport!
