How the Tourney Works:
1) Sign Up by sending me a PM on VFDC or XBL by 12/26 @ 12:01am. Attach the character you will be using (no switching) I will reply with verification.
2) Random drawing to determine placement. Results will be posted on this thread on the morning of 12/26
3) XBL message will be sent with the play time and who you play against.
4) When your play time is known you must join my Party Room before you play your match. You will have 5 minutes from your posted time to arrive or your match will be forfeited and the player that shows up will move on to the next round
5) After each match you will be sent a new time for your next match.
6) Winner will be announced to all the participants on this thread

Rules of the Online Tourney
* Single Elimination
* One chosen character per player (NO Switching)
* Winner of Best of 5 Matches moves on (first to win 3 matches)
* Winner must let me know the results
* Online Lag - Work it out between you and your opponent. If there is an argument then both players will forfeit their match.
(Make sure there is a strong connection)

Lol, like 50% of the people who signed up didn't show. Of course I guess that goes for me at well, but at least I gave notice.

Edit: Still, it would be nice if we could make this a regular thing. I had to drop out this time due to various holiday activities I was involved in, but I know it is hard to figure a good time to have a tourney around this season. If this tournament became a regular thing, I would make it a point to be a regular participant.

well if you want to set something up you should, but be prepared for a lot of people that cancel last minute.

if i do it again next year I might think about a entry fee. If your money is in the pot the more likely your will join

Hah 11 isn't bad for an online tournament, seriously. I think the most the Shakedown ever had was 12. Considering it's format though that was like way too many. It last friggin forever.

My bad for showing up late. The lady wouldn't let me interrupt her movie without consequences.

Well I think timing a tournament the day after Christmas creates a lot of opportunity to lose players. I dropped out because my guard button was broken, switched it out when I got back from family visiting but too late...considered seeing if I could sneak back in but then my 360 bricked. hahaha.
