Idk what exactly you want to know, but the general idea is that you get more of a ranking reward for beating people of the same rank. And it declines exponentially compared to how many ranks apart you and your opponent are
@Dhaval Katbamna , he's referring to the old arcade versions of VF that had a single player "ranking mode", and not the ranking systems used in VF4+. This is way before your time my son! ;)
@Virtually Driven while I admire your drive and enthusiasm, I'm not sure how much luck you'll have finding anyone knowledgeable in how these old ranks worked, much less remember their existence! Good luck though!
LOL, Myke! I know I'm a little in over my head, but it's an interesting project for me nonetheless. I've been playing these games for so many years it'd be nice to really master the ranking mode for more than just one character.
@Dhaval Katbamna Try to get a Sega Saturn and a copy of Virtua Fighter or Virtua Fighter Remix! They're really great games if you can appreciate retro gaming.
