VFR Tokyo Bay Area Cup is a monthly 3on3 Team Tournament using the Final Showdown arcade cabinet. In the 7th volume, on July 30th, Tetsuko no Heya Team - Homestay Akira (AK), Babukichi (AK), YOU (SA) - wins. They are the third team to have won a Tokyo Bay Area Cup monthy in 2023. They trailed behind Team Jump Kingdom and Team Shibuya. Both those teams having won three times each. Next monthly, Volume 8, takes place on August 27th.

Tokai Cup 10 is the first 5on5 team battle for the new VFR season. These 5on5 team tournaments give one player on the victorious team seeding rights for the next Beat-Tribe Cup. The Tokai Cup is held at the Tomei Bowl within the Nagoya region. The central location of the venue, is covenient for both players from eastern and western Japan to converge. Tokai Cup 10 will take place on July 16, 2023, 12 pm Japan time.

VF5US is an official tournament of Combo Breaker 2023. Since VF5US was released, it is the largest offline VF5US tournament in the United States with more than 60 players registered for the tournament. The Top 16 will be streamed on Sunday, May 28th. This weekend,125 teams, 600+ players will compete at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Japan. Schedule for the 18th VFR Beat-Tribe Cup. Note that the event starts morning of May 14th in Japan, but for some viewers around the world the event will start in the evening of May 13th.

After a 4 year absence, the Beat-Tribe Cup is coming back on May 14th, 2023. One of the most revered event for Virtua Fighter, VFR's 18th Beat-Tribe Cup is a 5on5 team tournament.

Last Updated on March 16, 2023. Season 1 of the Challenge Cup series culminates with the Pro Championship event on March 19, 2023. 7 JeSU Pro Licensed Virtua Fighter players will compete for the grand prize of 1,000,000 Yen with the Runner-up receiving a prize of 300,000 Yen.

The major announcement for this weekend, is that Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (known as Virtua Fighter eSports in Japan) will be a main title game at EVO Japan 2023. Not a side tournament game, but a main tournament game!

Virtua Fighter will be present at this week's Tokyo Game Show 2022. Three JeSU-pro licensed players--Shiwa, Barugo, and Bita--will be present to play with attendees. While the VF exhibitions will not be streamed there will be a SEGA NEW special broadcast on Friday, September 16, 8:00-8:50 pm.

The Virtua Expo 2022 is a collaboration between OReikhalKos and Tetsuko no Heya (Tetsuko's Room). It is a combination of online and offline events that includes same character tournaments and a 5on5 team tournament.
