Will you play VF5FS on PSN or XBL?

I wonder how its gonna go for VF5FS.

This is like the second time I've heard the XBL has more fighting game players but PSN has the big name players.

Does anyone know whether the big names in the VF International community Frequent VF on XBL?

Is it more likely that big name players will be on PSN playing VF5FS or XBL (that is if the big name players get online at all)?

Big name players you know who you are, please feel free to commit.

Or does it matter, will things be split down the line relatively equally?

Will the availability of sticks make the difference?

Big name players play in japanese arcades til now.
Since ver.C is on 360 everybody online plays xbl til now
Some people on this site have xbl n psn, some will double dip.
If FS sells good there will be a lot of good players online on both consoles...

On 360, don't own a PS3. Although I'll prob buy it for a mate who does.

 

Both. Theres a quadra stick that can do both xbox ps3. Ill get that as well.. As my 7th stick(within 3 yrs) anyone know if qquadra feels as smooth as the madcatz one? I hate the hori feel, i prefer madcats feel. I dont really plan on playing any other games so sega can have my soul and my money. but i plan to be on xbox more, better netcode i would think.

 

I'll definitely be on both to support Sega and to play as many different people as possible. I just hope one version isn't considered worst then the other, cause then I'd probably end up just playing the best version mostly. But it's going to be funny having both systems on and seeing who's playing and switching between the two constantly. Man I can't wait.

 

Both versions are exactly the same. I've played both. There aren't even subtle differences, like in lighting and stuff. Anyone who says otherwise is probably just a fanboy.

I support VF players, either way. I only have a 360, so... y'know. Yee!

 

I do not own a Xbox, so i'll be on PS3. Looking forward to learning from , and sparring with everyone here who owns a PS3.

 

I'll play on mainly 360 version but also PS3 version so I can finally beat on your ass masterpo. In fact, come at me bro with the whole dojo chiquanshu crew.

 

X360 here. With it being the end of this console generation I doubt I'll get a ps3. Didn't bother getting one earlier since VF5:Online was on 360.

 

Day 1 Xbox360 for me and willing to download PS3 version as long as good reputation. I'm glad FS is a DLC so I don't need to fix my BD-ROM to play physical copy.

There is a filter function on FS, so I doubt those Big name players would accept oversea connection out side of JP instead of their local competitions.

 

ps3, have no xbox, and no stick for it.

 

Both for me. I will support SEGA. Plus, with both, I have two systems to contribute to the SoCal Unlagged events.

 

i'd like both - i tested em both and no difference between both... but i only have a 360 so you know where to find me folks!

 

The only possible difference between the two versions is netcode, and PSN/XBL netcode differences are way overblown (in other fighters) as long as both players are on wired. PSN has more wireless users.

Saw both versions of FS side by side at FR, no difference.

I'm thinking about getting a PS3 for this and not renewing my Xbox Live late next year unless more Treasure goodness drops as XBLA exlusive.

I get the impression that fighting games are more popular on the 360 and since we've been playing VF5 online for the last 4 years on it then I guess we'll find most of the players on 360.

I'll pick up both just to play with the PS3 only players on here.
