Whats the G in ETEG do?

    Right I use a controller just to make that clear incase this is different for joysticks. Also I use LB for throws.

    If I press LB no matter how fast I press guard after it, it dosent cancel the throw.

    But if Im holding guard already no throw escape happens.

    So in an ETEG the G is meant to cancel a throw animation right? But as I said if your holding G nothing happens.

    So whats going on here? Am I missing something?

    You have to hold g in the last throw escape input you do. If you're doing multiple you have to be very fast, it's hard to do using LB on a controller. I suggest pressing punch and guard with your thumb.

    FYI- this should be discussed in the Dojo section.

    To guard after a throw escape attempt you have to let go of the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif button right after completing it.

    So if you are inputting a throw escape with a macro(one button) then it won't work because you can't individually let go of /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif.

    I've been told there is a way for pad players to do it but I wouldn't know.

    you are doing the evade part, right?

    the idea is to buffer the throw escapes in the evade and then hold guard afterwards so you dont have a throw come out after the evade.

    tap /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif

    hold _

    hold /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif

    let go of _

    where _ is whatever controller button you've configured to be throw.
