    Congrats to Denkai & Flash!!!

Heavy/Sanitary Rape was in full effect today. (I can just feel KoD cringing right now.) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Inspiring play from Denkai & Flash today. They played with so much heart and fiyah.

I started off strong, but couldn't keep focus towards the end, resulting in heart-breaking losses to Denkai and Flash. I'll be beating myself up for this for a little while. LOL.

It was really nice to play with Shag and Hayato again. It had been a while, my niggas!

Konjou had some great matches, and i think he leveled up in some sense. Rodney, your Kage will be truly awesome soon enough, and your Akira will find a way to overcome the hurdles you face with him. Don't worry - I'll help straighten you out yet...Keep the positive attitude going, brother!

CidKid - it was sad to see him go out like the way he did. He deserved to make it to the end as well, but was apparently very disoriented from sleep deprivation, and it showed. Count on him to come back with a vengeance. This guy is no joke.

    I love this game.

P.S. A big welcome to my wingman Chief Gutti (aka Viper)! We played casually, and his ability to read matches and players is amazing (much like Gerald's). A solid ass Wolf player, with a very very different style from Flash. OMG, if one can combine Flash & Gutti's Wolf tactics/styles, you would have a Wolf that is "an unstoppable weapon!"

wow...what a weekend. im totally exhausted...

just wanna give thanx to everyone for the kind words...

adam: no homo in advance, BUT!!!
our mindfucking sessions really taught me a lot of new stuff. we both like it RAW! ok syke /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif . ANYWAYS, i learned that 1) patience may not promise immediate results, but IT WILL promise an auspicious outcome. and 2) foundation is key to creativity. in other words, having a strong sense of foundation allows a player to explore his creative mind. niggas will come correct with such mentality. and that's what i strive to do...come correct! holla! thank you for the drilling me to become what i strive to be. but shit aint ova yet my nigga...now's the time to take our training to the next step.

CHIEFGUTTI! : FINALLY WE MEET! OUR NEWEST MEMBER OF HEAVY RAPE! YES! you definitely showed me a side of wolf that i need to explore more. im happy to say that the inspiration behind my name, Chief Flash, lived up to all my expectations. and to top it off, YOU'RE SUCH A COOL DUDE! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

akmaal: thank you for listening to my words bro. im glad to now be able to call you my friend.

to everyone else: you already know i LUH you guys!

    peace

Just wanted to say congrats to Denkai and Flash. The event was a blast and I really learned a lot.

While Denkai usually plays very well... on the day of the tournament he played 100% better than that. The very same goes for Flash who took his game up a notch and definitely showed that patience is a virtue.

I really learned a lot about my own game this past weekend thanks to the help of a few fellow friends. I owe great thanks to Adam who has been giving me awesome advice on how to improve, but during the day of the event I have to give the most thanks to a long time friend and great gamer who amazingly analyzed my play style and pointed out a few major holes in my game which I was able to temporarily patch up a little as the day transpired.

This thank goes out to the legendary Justin Wong, who surprisingly stood in my corner for my first 3-4 matches and offered great commentary advice. Yeah I know what your thinking does Justin play VF? The answer is no and yes. While he doesn't compete in the game for his own reasons. He does know enough about the game to point of a major flaw that was preventing me from winning more... Thanks J and I promise to put all that unnecessary bullshit on the shelf and pull out the good stuff from now on.

Last but not least, Gutti is the man! I am having so much fun chilling and conversing with this guy. I really wish he was coming to Socal with us. He is truly an amazing person and awesome VF player who has definitely helped me improve in the past 2-3 days.

I don't see why not. Last year it was held at the E for All Expo. The general public had to pay to get in but WCG players were given passes for friends/family.

We don't know. I'm guessing sometime after September.

It might be part of Digital Life. Last years event was canceled but on their website they say they will be back in '09.
