I'm being extra vocal and a total dick about it. My SoCal win-streak is not related. Neither is yours (I recall you got me right back). See PM.

Hey guys, I'm back. Man, that was fun. Overall I think that was the most fun I ever had at an offline event for any game, thanks in a large part to Shag, who is one awesome guy. Except when he led us around for three hours in the rain looking for a decent bar... naw, I'm kidding, even then he was still a cool guy. I'm really glad we had him running the VF tourney, cause he did just about the best job I think anyone could have asked for.

It was also great just hanging out with the VFDC crew. Shag, Dennis, Flash, Rayblade, Spanky... Actually, I'm still not entirely convinced Spanky wasn't AdamYUKI in disguise, but I guess we'll never know for sure. Hanging out with you guys really makes me wish I could get out to offline events more often.

As for the actual gaming part of the trip, it was touch and go for a while there, but I managed to come out the undisputed champion... of Daytona USA and Air Hockey. I was also busy wowing people with my DJMax skills at the convention, but no one dared challenge me at that. Oh, and I seem to remember there was some VF5 competition I participated in, although the results of that really aren't too important...

Anyway, next time, let's take a VFDC trip to Japan!
