Admittedly I'm not a Goh player, but I found that really entertaining. As a side note I'm really glad to see you throwing your combo skills behind VF. I've really enjoyed your Tekken vids for a while now.

Almost all of the combos in that video are breakable, techable etc..

Thank you Gordon! I didn't think anyone would know who I am here! Have we talked before dude?

Hello! Yes I'm aware of te Joystick symbol represents escapable situations, and the ground throws and throws can be broken, it was just for flash purposes, my original background of Tekken similar situations have been shown such as escapable throws in combos, and blockable stuns!

Are you sure about the techable combos? As you can see I have tech-roll on, unless the practice mode options are crappy? The combo meter stays white, not green too [IMG]

I didn't realise how many people would know me [IMG] Thanks a million dude!

This game is so strange, I had no idea the majority of moves in this game can be changed by frames, I assumed this game was quite static! I'd like to pick up on VF6 to work on VF combos seriously, but now it's backto Tekken [IMG]

We've never talked before. I just really enjoy Tekken combo vids. A lot of creativity and imagination goes into them. They're like fighting game music videos. Hope your not giving up on VF just yet. Keep up the good work!

Ah ok man, thank you for your nice comments though :), I had 10 Goh combos saved for a team combo video with "Perfect Input" planned (the number has now shrunk to 5 combos) so expect one more video from me, maybe using another character!

    Ridiculous statement.

SOME of those stagger combos are technically breakable, but it'd mostly be the shoulder ram staggers that would be recovered from, the wall staggers are a lot tougher to break in time to prevent getting wall comboed. I thought you definitely had some nice combos in there, ESPECIALLY for someone who just started VF this week; it's an awesome video for someone with 3 days of play time.

Keep it up, you will quickly learn more and hopefully find that VF5:FS is the best fighting game on the planet right now.

What exactly do you mean by this??? In almost every fighting game I can think of, your frame advantage/disadvantage is based on which active frame your move hits on.

If a move has 2 active hit frames, the advantage or disadvantage of that move can differ by +/- 1 frame; generally you have more advantage when you land your move from the maximum range it can hit your opponent. A good example is Goh's standing K; if you land it from max range, with just the very tip of his toe, you get an extra frame or two because you hit with the last active frame of the move. It's kind of a cool bonus for ranging your moves perfectly.

Yo Gernburgs! thanbk you also for your kind comments! I was already aware of the shoulder escape, but you've calmed me down about the rest!

Yes that's a good explanation of the frames in this game for me, thank you very much! You see that's what I didn't realise about the moves and stuns of this game [IMG]

Do you play Tekken? If so there's a character called Kazuya, he can do CH d/f+2, EWGF (umm a VF translation would be 3P, 6,23P or something) and it allows you 13 frames to perform the launcher, no matter how far away the timing is the same (maybe easier from an angel or distance but not by much)

With VF for a CH stun like 6K, if you're close it's 19 frame advantage, but further away it's 20, 21 or maybe even more! I was playing around with it for the future as my video was uploading haha.

It's so confusing for me I'm still new! But I will be making a few more combos, but I'll be learning this game a lot to play on future VF games! VF is awesome!

Goh is one of my fighters even thou I haven't used him to much in VF5FS yet. Well done with excellent combos even if they are not all guaranteed they're fun to look at and possibly try out.

P.S. The video was nice and well put together too.

I'm glad TMD02 that you're actually playing the game instead of just making assumptions about it.

Was weird seeing you make VF combo videos.

I know you're a UK player but I don't know if you live in London or not?

You're welcome for the additional research.

It be nice if you unblocked me and Spinal on youtube so we can give feedback.

Some of your wall combos were quite good.

I LULZed at the customs. Nice touch.

Again thanks for the feedback people! Honestly it was my first week of this game, but it won't be the last.

@ Sithlord: Of course, I look forward to your feedback, the last thing I want is more conflict as there was on Tekken Zaibatsu.

So 6K at 21 frames you did was the first time it's been discovered?? Damn I missed out big time.

It was a funny turn of events we released on the same day.

TBH, I was surprised you dropped Goh so quickly. It's clear you still have the "Tekken" combo mindset, but then again...so do I. =)

It aids in thinking outside of the box, IMHO.

If you guys are doing a P.I. video for VF5, I'd like to toss my stick into the proverbial ring. I already know which character(s) to submit material for.

I only ask that I get a downloadable copy for my own youtube channel.

If not, no big deal and no hard feelings.

That proposal does sound interesting, I'm the only one to have footage recorded so far, if I have up to 3 PI members to join me then of course, but if not I'll be releasing solo footage (i.e. Heihachi & Kuma)

Well let me know, one way or the other. Hmm, which reminds me, I need to review DD's link now.
