VF5: Shin Step ?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to do Shin Step in VF5? Been told that it's not possible to do this step anymore in VF5.

Look at 0:36 and 0:20.

From my understanding, the stepping the Shu did was called Shin Step? My apology if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it. Thanks.

 

Are you sure it was this match nothing here even demonstrated the Shinz step?

Its not possible to do it anymore as you cannot cancel your evade until the 11th frame now. Those were the days /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

I changed the time indication on when Shu did this step.

It's probably not Shin step. It looks like he crouchbackdashed really quick.

 

If we're talking about the same thing, I think he's only doing CD back, Backdash, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif +/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif each move cancels the previous one making Shun backup really quick but it has nothing to do with "Shin step".

 

I've tried it.. with Crouch Back Dashing and Back Dashing.. Doesn't work. that move 1+P+K+G has no cancel element that'll make it available for another Crouch Back Dashing. So, if you've done one Crouch Back Dashing, the moment you successfully inputted 1+P+K+G, it executes that move to the end.
Tried CBD + 1+P+K+G / 3+P+K+G
Tried BD + 1+P+K+G / 3+P+K+G
Tried Evade + CBD + Evade + CBD + 1+P+K+G / 3+P+K+G
nothing looks like it yet. It can't be a glitch in the video for it to happen twice just at those two particular moments.. I think.

Someone wanna call up that Shu guy? hehe.

Any other ideas? It's doing my head in.
