VF5:FS will be at UK Insomnia 46 - 24-26 Aug, 2012

Multiplay UK in partnership with Unequalled Media, are proud to announce that Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown will be present in the list of games to be featured in the tournament.

Insomnia 46, or i46 for short will be held at the International Center in Telford UK.

This will be a 3 day tournament event in the UK, starting from Friday the 24th of August till Sunday the 26th August.

This will be an Xbox 360 event, so bring your own controller or converters. Come down and support your scene.

I only want to play FS casuals and participate in the tournament, do I just need the weekend spectator pass and then I pay for the FS tournament separately?

 

You can pay on the day, no need to pre-book.

 

I'll have to see what I can do, a week after the girlfriend's birthday and i'll still be on my probation period. I'll try and sort something then let you guys know.

 

Any word about which day the VF tournament is being held?

How do I make sure I sign up for VF only and just grab a day pass or something?

Once you've created your account (takes like less than a minute).

1: Sign in:

2: Following the guide, goto the "Ticket Choice" page an select "Spectator Passes".

Doing that will allow you to choose your days and what games you want to participate in.

 

Not sure about travelling from London to Salford for a tournament the night before work on Monday..

Anyone organising any London sessions now the game is out?

 

Check on neo-empire. There was a guy running sessions at his house. With the game being download only, we can't just go to Gamerbase and run an event unless they have it on their machines (don't think they do) so we'd need a place where we can bring consoles.

At the moment I don't think there are any major plans though.
