VF5 Action Figures

Has Sega ever relased a range of Virtua Fighter action figures/models/figurines? If not why not? i realy want a Model of Kage Maru to display on my shelf along with the rest of the collection. been looking online, you can get DOA, tekken, street fighter, K.O.F,pretty much anything you want but no Virtua Fighter? If they did release them would you buy one of your favourite character? Or am i just sad? haha

That is awesome! I bet you still have them too. Makes me regret not hanging on to the few VF character keychains and little plush toys I had.

thats an awesome collection! haha i liked the way you said "i was young then" im 23 and all the figures i collected when i was a kid are still proudly on display. found a few figures on ebay yeasterday, there was a line of VF4 figures and there are a few Lau's kicking about online. also there is a porcelean figurine of akira on "buy it now" for a tenner, if your quick. not for me tho i realy want a Kage!

I want an Aoi so bad I could hurt someone. I've got half a dozen Ayane and 2 dozen sakura figures, but Aoi? Nope.

Not so much action figures, but I've got the two Sugita, Clayburne and Moore pvc statues of Sarah and Akira from the VF2 days. I didn't get them when they were originally released, only a couple of years back. They were the only ones created, the Sarah one actually got cancelled but released anyhow, she hasn't got a proper base just a slab of green pvc under her feet. That's pvc as in Porcelain with vynil coating.

Sadly my brother dropped Sarah once, breaking her leg and arm in two places. I glued it back together, but you can still see a crack and some chips. I hope I come across another one on the cheap some day to replace it. There're still a few of them rolling around ebay, maybe I'll pull one of them.

Manji: Those VF4 things always looked off to me, but the keychain and chibi are awesome.

There were some figures for VF4 too, doubt you'll be able to get hold of those now.

 

I've got this lying around. It's not a packaged figure - it's a resin model kit, meaning you need to sand, adjust, assemble, and paint it yourself. I've been meaning to work on it for a very long time, but these things are super time-consuming and time is what I completely lack right now...

 

Is there anywhere I can get some Kage Maru merchandise?

Seen pictures of it around and hoped to lay my hands on one some day but I'm not keen on having to build it myself (nor do I trust my painting skills to do it justice).

 

Yeah, the only worthwhile figures to come out of that Gamepro set they put out years ago. Akira, Jacky and Lau with a variant each. I was lucky enough to get a blue Lau from a local toy show for $5 a couple years ago.
