The ice rink/bowling alley near Bayswater used to have a VF4 beta machine. I went this weekend and couldn't find it - has it been sold on? Does anywhere else in London have VF4 yet?

BTW, if anyone is interested, there will (TBC) be a VF3 tournament at the Casino in Goodge Street on the 16th, as part of the Dynamic Leage. See

    http://ourworld-top.cs.com/dynamicleague/news.htm

    for details.

Yeah, they got rid of it about a week or so ago. Probably sitting in Sega Europe's offices on freeplay!

Anyway it's due for release later this month and judgung by Tekken 4 and it's swift siting in several London arcades VF4 should follow in a similar vein.

I spoke to SEGA. They had to take away the VF4 machine as it was only a test version.
I begged them to let us have it for the Dynamic League event on the 16th but the boss said no way we have to wait for the full release end of September. I am going to ask them to make sure we get version 'B' released in Europe.

I am still pushing the arcade owners to make sure they get a VF4. Apparently it is going to be expensive. £6000 !

    Location=Queensway, London

Just checking, guys. Does this machine still exist, or has it been taken away by Sega of Europe as well?

That's the machine I was referring to - it is (or rather, was) at a bowling alley/ice rink between Bayswater and Queensway.

    No longer there, unfortunately.

Ah, okay. Say, so do you guys think it's worthwhile for me to put up a section that has European VF4 locations? Or is someone else taking care of that...?

Sure it is worthwhile Euro players need love too. The coolest thing you could do is rip-off that map thing from www.krisamico.com and have peple sign it like he did. That way you could tell what players are in your area and organize meetings. That was a great concept it just came too late in VF3's lifetime for people to care.

Okay, when I have a bit of time later, I'll slot in a "Europe" window.

I'm planning to put up a list of regular players for each arcade that has VF4 in the "comments" section of the table, perhaps with profile links back to VFDC or mouseover tooltip-style windows...

Don't see the map thing at krisamico.com though...?

Go to the VF section then click on the VF world icon on the left side of the screen. Then if you click on a colored section of the map it has the names and bio info for the VF players in that region.

Goodge Street: Get out at Goodge St. station(Northern Line) and turn right. You'll see a small arcade with a "Casino" sign on the front. Easy.

Naw, it's just got some fruit machines in it :D

Fruit machines and shooters/racers upstairs. Proper games(fighters) downstairs. You're not under 18 are you? Shouldn't really matter anyway.

Hi, can you please tell me how to get to Casino from London St Pancras Station? Thanks.

I'm guessing that you are refering to Kings Cross St Pancras Station (Most people know the staion as Kings Cross).

Take the Northern Line Tube Northbound to Camden Town Station. From Camden Town Take the Southbound Tube Via Charring Cross to Goodge Street. Once out of Goodge Street turn to your right and you can't miss the Casino.

    Adio.
