Hello there, ive orderd my copy of vf4 evo and cant wait to get stuck into it, but i was wondering what people thought of playing the game on 60hz, could someone shed some light on how important or not it is and if it makes that much of a difference to 50hz. Also the tv i have now doesnt support NTSC so would that mean a new telly to play it on.. Cheers phil

sorry if this is such a noob post but i have to ask /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think pretty much anyone can spot the difference between 60Hz and 50Hz if they were shown both modes. 60Hz is noticably faster and smoother than 50Hz so I definitely think it's worth getting 60Hz up and running especially if you are going to be playing on another TV at 60Hz or in the arcade.

60Hz is smoother but its worth playing it first with 50Hz,remembering characters winning and starting poses than switching to 60Hz and listening to them again. They will talk a lot faster and i found that funny.

    CONCLUSION:USE 60 Hz!!! /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If your TV is not NTSC compatible but is 60hz (the majority of TVs are) then the picture when displayed in 60hz will be black and white but stable. You can play it in colour by getting a decent scart lead.
