I do know that not many ppl are out there who still play and love to play VF3, instead, I have to say, that VF4 an indirect sequel to VF2, than to VF3, got even more popular without any reason, to MY mind. But that's another topic I do not wanna touch... (I know many ppl will start to dislike me now...)

I dont know if anyone is interested in but I have noticed that Aoi can get a guaranteed combo follow up when inashing a high punch or side kick in open stance. The follow-up combo depicts a knee, kick, sweep, downwards chop ([4][P] - [6][K],[K]; [2][K]+[G]; [3][P]).
Also, I would like to know if there are still interested VF3 player out there, or if VF3 has almost been forgotten. The other thing I'd like to ask is about KS: Is it right that it's only a chancelled dodge with CD ([E] - [3][3_])? I always used Dogdelets ([2][3][E]), for I thought I'd be quick enough - but unfortunately, I can be thrown easily, for it's executed in a standing position.
    Thats it for now.

    With warmest regards
    Jacky

(What happened to all the VF3 battle videos....)

    Hello,

I do agree that Aoi is of much special in VF3 that she has sth that the others do not have ie G-cancelling with Excellent recovery time....(not in VF4 however...)

For her inashi, I can't remember it that will it inashi kicks? or just hand-attack?

In the VF3 times I always use f,f+p after successful inashi, then with a beautiful ground throw for stylus...hehe.

Thanks for reminding me the lovely Aoi at that time...

There's a bunch of us in Toronto that still play through the entire series, VF3 is one of my retro faves simply because it entails more precision (excepting the dodge).

dodgelets and KS are two completely different things but neither are invulnerable. You can however combine KS and fuzzy guard for a really hard to crack form of movement.

<font color="orange">Thank you all for your replies! I was greatly pleased to see you guys responding to a VF3 related topic regarding AOI.

She still impresses me. I always feel comfortable to fight with her because you could easily vary your attacks like hell, cancel them and thus feinting ur opponent. Although she does not depict one of the most efficient characters of VF3 (and efficiency is everything that scores!), especially if you play against characters who just wont respond to cancels, her moves are just slick. One would never think that a sixteen-year-old girl could beat the hell out of you... First you have to learn how to win with AOI, then you could flash... in a way making the other profound fighters speechless. Using such fancy stuff, such as hopping over opponents with her knee-kick combo, or her quick crouch movements, always makes me feel superior... /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif (Although I do love Pai's Inashi, also named Cloud Hand with which she could intercept a punch and then force throw her opponent)

And in remembrance of the once most powerful SEGA model 3 board step 1.0

P.S. Did you know that the Dreamcast depicts an exact copy of the NAOMI arcade board only with less memory?
That is why, it took no time to convert the NAOMI arcade board games for DC. The Naomi board has already had a GD-ROM...
