VF2 on PSN - Can I play players from Europe with a US version?

    Hi all. I'm based in Europe but I have a US PSN account and I'm itching to pick up VF2 since it's released there a week before the European release so I was thinking of picking it up but something that is essential to me is playing against European players to avoid any lag. So is VF2, technically, region free (not as in will it work with my PS3, I know it will but will I be able to play players from Europe with a US version?) Thanks.

    I've seen a Worldwide/Same Area option, like in VF5:FS.
