I know a lot of you will be dedicated to Halo 3 for the next few days, but when you come back give this thread some thought.

What would you get on a vanity license plate? VF related of course.

I think you're limited to 7 character spaces max, just alpha-numeric and dashes. Does anyone know the rules? It's probably different state to state. You may be able to get up to 9 characters in Europe. I don't know. How about Australia, Myke?

The first one that came to mind is "PKG PKG"
    But I'm old school VF2.

You could also do your favorite combos like
"33KPPPK" for Sarah. I guess my favorite old school VF2.0 Sarah move would be "334KG2K" (shun puri sweep) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif Good times...

How about "2K236PG" for Jeff's TKOD?

If you can get 9 characters, than you can SPOD
    "PKG61PG6P"
Old school VF2 (the original all powerful SPOD)
    "PKG61PK6P"

What about Lau (again this is really old school)
    "M-UPKNP" (men-upkin-punch) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Of course there's "BUN BUN" for Wolf fans.
How about "41236PG" for a Giant Swing?

Or how about a more general message like "G-CNCL"

Unfortunately, my current style of play is mostly
"PG-THRO" Maybe it's always been that way, at least since the day I learned what a tick-throw was...

I know many have hated opponents that abuse low punches
    "2P 2P 2P" Heh! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    Shang's team: "KAGEWTF" /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

What ever happened to "JO SHUN"?
Oh yeah! Shun is often refered to as "JIJI" (Grandpa) in Japan. I remember Jo Shun always refering to Shun as "OLD MAN"

Any others? I'll definately add more as I think of them.

I don't think there are any. However, truckers go nuts with their stuff every now and then.

    "CHIBITA" sounds lame, doesn't it...? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
    Anyway, how about "AWOOOOO" ?
Or maybe "10YRERL" (you know, ten years too early.... Jyuunen etc."
or Eileens "MNKTRCK" (Monkey Tricks.... not Truck :p )
    Whatever :p "VF-FTW!" that's mine, or "TKN-SUX"

10 years too early is classic! =)

My dad got my mother "PRETTYFT" as a gag birthday present. That's "pretty feet", not what you're thinking... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I guess you can get 8 characters, at least in NY, because that was a real license plate back in the late 80's

    so change it to "10YR2ERL"
    boosh!

The limit in Australia is 6 characters.

I get my geeky kick out of simply recognising the many different VF acronyms in everyday plates. TFT, DLC and ARE come to mind.

Maybe I should take photos next time /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Yup. But... 7 characters, at least one number and at least one letter, no G, O, Q or W /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

So my suggestion must be U-M4SHER /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

BTW you see this stuff here really rarely

In certain North American cities it's pretty popular. I believe I've seen a documentary from the UK where they have auctions for different plates. I believe they even have catalogs of different plates that are available for sale. Can anyone in the UK comment?

Yes, we do have auctions for licence plates and people spend sickening amounts of money for them - one guy spent £66,000 (about $122,000) on one that said "P1L0T". Why would you want to spend that much on something like that?

I think the limit is 7 characters for plates. I can't think of a decent Wolf one however. The best I can come up with is PK4PKS ( /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif).

    "GNT SWNG" for Wolf

still need to go thru the movelists... I'll be back here.
